What boardgames are you playing in 2012?

I would LOVE to get a 6-player game together. We can only seem to get 3 or 4 max. We played 3-player Dominion on Thursday night, with a group of other people playing 4-player Ticket to Ride. We sorta grouped together to get in four 6-player plays of a fun little game called For Sale. It's...

    [Trailer] Total Recall

I do thank Krug. I had already watched it on YouTube before posted his link. There was no emotional reaction from me, only a suggestion from a friendly EnWorlder. :)

    [Trailer] Total Recall

I never talked about entitlement. No need to hurt your head. I only suggested that YouTube has far more reach. That's all. No pain. No worry. No nerd rage. It was a smiley opinion. :D

    [Trailer] Total Recall

I imagine these people have bigger problems than watching movie trailers. I wasn't suggesting a rule. Only offering my opinion about what might offer more universal appeal. Sorry if it offended you.

    [Trailer] Total Recall

This. I don't have the numbers, but I imagine that far more people can view a YouTube video than a Quicktime movie (or maybe even HTML5, though I don't know how many have the most recent browsers). Except for iDevice users who, whether they want to or not, can't watch flash video. Oh, wait...

    [Trailer] Total Recall

BTW, I had already seen it from a YouTube link prior to even seeing this thread, but was instead recommending to any one else that may post movie trailers that a YouTube link is recommended over iTunes since a lot of people don't want to install quicktime or do a full download to view it...

    [Trailer] Total Recall

Still, if there's a YouTube link, that would be best.

Anyone associated with Mystic Eye Games

These were some of my 3.x favs. They got a LOT of use at my table.

    RPG Sales of 2012

You know, Mongoose may have been ripped for their mechanical issues, but they were cool flavor-wise. There's a TON of stuff there for a really low price. Try Drow War series, you;ll need to flesh out maps, but the adventure itself was really fun to run. One of the best times I had during 3.x.

Oh, how I hate PayPal, let me count the ways. . .

I use paypal just about every day for things like amazon, ebay, literally all my online shopping. I've never had a problem once. Now, this might be because I have had a paypal business account for about 8 years. I also have a Paypal debit card that I use for all "credit card" purchases...

GAME OF THRONES #1:The North Remembers ACT 11 Chapter 2-2012--Season Begins!

I loved it. I felt they covered quite a bit of ground in the many scenes, but it didn't feel forced or contrived. I can't wait until next week!!

Awesome Ptolus Vinyl Map - HUGE

I had assumed that all 1000 were numbered as well. Did he print more than the original 1000? I thought that was all he did.

What boardgames are you playing in 2012?

Last night I played Pandemic with the On the Brink Expansion as a solo, then a buddy came over and we played together. I think this is one that my wife might actually like since she hates heavily themed fantasy or sci-fi stuff (and yet she married a gamer...)

    Name this TV show.

Oh and there was a show called Harper's Island that was a one season series (I think scripted as such), but I don't recall a computer at the center with a crazy man.

    Name this TV show.

I assume no one has guessed it yet because you would have awarded their correct answer with a post identifying it as such. Right? Otherwise, if it had been guessed already and you are simply waiting and watching, what's the point?

    Name this TV show.

I was going to guess Gilligan's Island, but now I am thinking it might be Fantasy Island. I always thought Mr. Roarke was a little evil.

    Your d20...an inny or outy?

Yea, we've talked about it. 1. They like 4e rolled in the open because most of the rolling is done during tactical combat and (though I hate saying this) it feels more boardgamey and it is less swingy. Don't get me wrong, we like 4e combat as much as 3.x and 2e combat. For us we like the...

    Your d20...an inny or outy?

This is me mostly. :) While I prefer to roll behind the screen, I usually defer to what the group wants me to do. Interestingly, my current group changes their mind depending upon what we are playing. They like 4e roll out in the open, 3.x/Pathfinder they like some battles rolled out in open...

Awesome Ptolus Vinyl Map - HUGE

Well that's good! I got mine at The Slumbering Tsar Saga so it looks like mine will be numbered and signed. The Paizo batch that was bought (and apparently sold like mad) was like icing on the cake for Bill Webb and Greg Vaughn. EDIT: Wait... did I get this mixed up with the big Tome of Horror...
