    Welcome to ENWorld 2

The News area has several bugs that are being worked on Tal. I'm aware of them, and your complaints about the frontside of it aren't have as loud as the newshounds on the backside of it. Still, it's a work in progress.

    Stick a Fork in it

Eventually I want all the buttons to look like it to reduce the graphic load on the server - the "button" is actually created by css. For now I just want it in and working. Since it's a new feature having it be different makes it stand out.

Forked Thread: Stick a Fork in it

Forked from: Stick a Fork in it And here's an example of a forked thread.

    Stick a Fork in it

Forking a thread quotes a post and begins a new thread in the same forum. This is most useful when a thread meanders from the OP's topic. This is, incidentally, what the "Fork to New Thread" button does.

    Welcome to ENWorld 2

Yeah, but the server appreciates not having a 400K news page (the second most frequently hit page on the machine btw, after the general forum list) by giving us all more speed. :D

    Old Master Bug List.

I'll cook one up shortly. Fixed. I can't replicate this by setting my browser to 1024x768 mode. I can get it down to 1000 pixels before left-right scrolling occurs. This should be corrected now. Earlier I had forgot to tell vbulletin where it was now. All the same enworld.org should 301...

RSS feeds seem b0rked right now

The front news page doesn't have an RSS feed because PAM (it's underlying engine) has no RSS engine yet.

    Verifications of features.

Gone and not. There's a new system in 3.7 and the other admins haven't configged it yet.

    ETA on the Wiki?

Seems like the only bridge on the .org doesn't work with vb 3.7. I guess I'm writing one.

CTRL + Mouse Wheel. Adjust your font sizes down. There's little I can do about local settings and overrides.

    Old Master Bug List.

They're incompletely loaded (IE does that for some reason) - hit refresh.

    ETA on the Wiki?

What he said, though at CM the install was with vb 3.6 -- shouldn't make a difference but... Anyway starting now.

They are in the system, indeed I haven't erased any of the old site and will ressurect materials as time goes by.

    Welcome to ENWorld 2

Sir Edmund Blair Leighton was responsible for the first two, the last by Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema. They belong to a group of Victorian artists collectively known as the "Pre-Raphaelite Movement" and favor classical and medieval themes in their paintings, though some of their works where modern...

    Community Supporter Badges ?

Tomorrow -er- this afternoon. I had to adjust the postbit template and accidentally wiped them. I need sleep.

    Welcome to ENWorld 2

The fact that it's 2 in the morning probably has something to do with it. Tomorrow will be the first true load test. I'm worried.

    Welcome to ENWorld 2

It does stall on me occasionally - but that's probably server related. We went down several times today while I optimized apache and mysql. Sometimes the PAM framework will send the text string "file not found" in response to a bad image request - and FF3 doesn't seem to like that at all. As...

    Is It Up?

Cute as that was it was a waste of processor time. When other more important things are deployed I'll borrow the plugin I wrote that I use for Spoony Fighter over on Circvs Maximvs

    Welcome to ENWorld 2

The lion's share of the dev was done on Firefox 3 for PC. I have used the Mac version and am aware that sometimes it has problems the PC version doesn't (and vice versa). As I am currently unemployed I have no Mac at work to check this on.

    Well, that was quick.

That's what I'm doing now - grabbing little things to fix.
