Best Year 6 Core RPGA mods

I haven't played too many of the Core Year 6 mods, but of those I have played Rallying Point for Bright Sands, Beneath the Sands and Murder in Elmshire stand out.

Core Religion Survivor - Round Fifteen (THE FINAL ROUND!)

Hmmm. A multi-armed freak, or a hot goth babe? Later, Hextor.

Core Religion Survivor - Round Twelve

Damn Moradin has more lives than Bast! And how come all the sudden dislike for Olidamarra? I'm telling you, Olidamarra is the best diety for adventurers. C'mon, he's the party god. How can you not like the party god? You can worship him by sitting around drinking in a tavern. How cool is that?

Core Religion Survivor - Round Eleven

    How is Moradin still here?

How many people have you played D&D with?

More than 100. I've been playing since 1980, and I've been to a few conventions. I've also become heavily involved with RPGA over the last couple of years.

    Commuting to a game

I regularly drive 60 miles (45 minutes to an hour) one way to play and run RPGA games in Austin. I also drive to Austin once a month to play Traveller. For my home D&D game, I'm lucky in that the drive is just 5 minutes.

Core Religion Survivor - Round Eight (The Final Nine!)

Can't believe the hatin' on Olidamarra. A god you can worship by sitting in a tavern drinking? C'mon, that's what your characters are doing during their downtime anyway. Might as well get some religious benefits from it as well. Gruumsh, I'm poking out your other eye. Nerull, Hextor, Moradin --...

Classed Drow in Monster Manual IV

I play a Drow Duskblade in the new Xen'drik Expeditions RPGA living campaign. It is a wicked combination. And very appropriate. So no, you are not going insane. Unless I am, too. Which is entirely possible.

Cityscape - WOW what great art!

Hey, I started that thread. I hadn't thought about it in some time. It did turn into an entertaining thread.

What are the greatest Core mods of Year 5?

I'll agree with the previous posters who touted Atonement, Time's Tide on Bright Sands and All Roads Lead to Rauxes. Here are some others I liked: Retribution and Here Comes the Sun are good investigative mods, similar to Atonement. The Voice of Reason was a good two-rounder with primarily...

How long did this session take?

I find that when running games for my home group, they lag. The combats Merric listed in the first post would have taken us weeks, if not months, to get through. We have too much talking out of character as well as in game role-playing, shopping, selecting spells and equipment, etc. But when...

How long did this session take?

I say 7 hours: Roughly 5 hours for the combats, and 2 hours for the other stuff.

Have you seen or used this product before?

I've used that item for the very same thing. Index cards don't fit in it without serious folding. The Paizo cards will fit if you bend/box them slightly.

D&D 4E The Soonest You Would Purchase 4e

I'll buy it when it becomes necessary for RPGA, but not before.

    What's With Them?

I have to disagree with this. My experience with the RPGA in Austin has been very positive. I've meet some really great people who I enjoy gaming with, and just talking to and hanging out with when we're not gaming. Yes, there are some people I've met who I would prefer to avoid now that I have...
