    The archmage and knight in O.L.D. both have exploits that give a character a follower. What are the stats supposed to be for the apprentice and squire from these abilities? I don't see stat blocks anywhere, or even a suggested max dice pool.

    Yes. Each skill can add to Health or Vital Defense, but not both.

    I allow hardy, fortitude, resistance, and any skills made up by players that make sense to add to Health or Vital Defense. The player chooses which one when they take the skill. I see all 3 things on your list as strengths of the system. Just a matter of preference, I suppose.

    I had similar thoughts on the change to conditions, initially. I haven't had a chance to run a proper game with the updates, but after running a few test battles my opinion changed. The new rules are a little simpler, and getting hit with a condition matters more immediately.

    It's been a while. Any chance the update will happen soon? How many projects are queued up in front of O.L.D.? I don't mean to seem impatient. It's just that O.L.D. is my preferred game, and I have a new game starting soon.

    Maybe you could build the fate witch exploits to use luck dice on activation. Luck can be seen as a representation of fate. Mechanically this would have the effect of removing dice that potentially add to rolls or reduce damage taken.

    I'm not sure on the first one. I lean toward Melee Defense. As for the second, the duration is how long the object can hold the charge. The spell would be discharged on the first hit.
