    Magic Jar: Is it useful?

Can anyone imagine how non-evil PC can use this spell?

Demonweb maps - now featuring Scott Rouse question

It's a question of time when some 3rd party will release grids for every new WotC adventure (similiar, not the same, because of copyright reasons). Sad it will not be The Forge Studios :( .

    Weapons of Legacy

We are using one sword designed according to the rules of WoL already, but I will introduce 1-2 items of legacy per PC. I like them and use them, but as we all I like more sophisticated and customised magic items. Lack of time is the only reason there are so few of WoLs in our campaigns.

Anyone Got Tome of Artifacts Yet?

Interview with Scott Rouse, Chris Perkins & Bill Slavicsek

And I'm a fan of BIRTHRIGHT and there were almost none BIRTHRIGHT's content in Dungeon and Dragon. So, It can be better now, because WotC will use broader platform. One question: Is it possible to every fan who wrote interesting material, to contribute to this new platform?

Do you consider PDF cost by Page Count?

I think it's not a wise way, because 200 pages of :):):):):):):):) for free isn't better than 5 pages of inspiring ideas for 10$.

Wizards of the Coast and Golden Age of Fantasy

Polish equivalent of Barnes and Noble is called Empik and there are only several shelves of fantasy and s-f materials in compare to 2-3 floors of the rest. Rpg, if present at all, occupies 1 small shelf, mostly Polish edition of D&D.

Wizards of the Coast and Golden Age of Fantasy

Yes, I'm interested. Thanks for help. The things which make today marketing difficult, are it's oportunities too. New tricks to seduce to people. Eg. search engine optimization (SEO) - one can complay: "Because of this Internet, I must pay for this SEO", and another marketer can say: "Great...

Wizards of the Coast and Golden Age of Fantasy

I see two difficulties more: 1. Time - game session takes +/-6 hours, in fact one day. If you work 6 days a week, it is not so cool to spend every free time for rpg only. 2. Mentality - most of non-players say: "Do you play this childish game about dragons and half-naked princesses. It's not for...

Your chart is interesting, but I'm curious how it was created? How to compare value of the dollars in various parts of XX century? I don't have any evidences, but I'm not believeing, the product without any marketing or with '70 marketing can be sold as good as product supported by 2007 marketing.

Wizards of the Coast and Golden Age of Fantasy

It's impossible, because D&D game is too difficult entertainment for masses. It's not impossible for nearly anyone to play, but I think 99/100 people don't have time and patience to play. A movie is 1-3 hours of entertainment prepared for you - you don't need to do anything, but pay, watch and...

Wizards of the Coast and Golden Age of Fantasy

Sure not :). I'm talking about marketing success, which is the pinacle of WotC (and any other professional company) deeds.

Wizards of the Coast and Golden Age of Fantasy

Maybe you're right. There can be a mistake in my thinkig, because I equalized ideas-creation and $ creation (future sales).

Wizards of the Coast and Golden Age of Fantasy

We can judge WotC ideas as good or not. "D&D Movie" and some magic items are not excelent for all. I only think they (WotC) are profesionally in fantasy creating, they create it day by day for living, so even if they are ineffective, they have by statistics bigger chance then enyone else in the...
