Spell or cantrip to clean people/items?

Disintegrate makes fine dust. There is a large difference between dust that clumps and collects, and fine dust. Fine dust is what floats in the air, all around us, 24/7.

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Iconic Girls!

Very nice! I like your style a lot better, especially the slightly smaller breasts on Seoni. Works a lot better (sure, not as great for the eye-candy, but fits the outfit now. Not as much accidental boob swinging during combat).

    Can Duskblades do this?

Cast Blade of Blood and then True Strike, then the next round attack with the channeled Shocking Grasp. A guaranteed hit with solid damage (for 3rd lvl).

Spell or cantrip to clean people/items?

    Disintegrate. Cast, then blow.

    Undead PC ideas

So, the cost in LA is not worth choosing a wight, ghoul, vampire or other undead with those abilities. The Libris Mortis gives examples of Monster classes and the basic one, the ghoul, has 5 levels. Some stat bonuses, some natural attacks, natural armour, and paralysis/ghoul fever (useless...

    Undead PC ideas

I'll toss my lot in with Necropolitan. Well worth it for a group of PCs. They get their immunity to crits and no LA to deal with. A weakness to some other suggestions are the powers of some undead. Level drain, negative energy damage, etc. The OP said that the major villains are all undead. All...

    Pathfinder 1E Rate Paizo's Adventurers

I recently finished the first 2 books of the Rise of the Runelords AP. Both myself and my players had a blast! The haunted mansion in Book 2 is great! We're taking a break from that path so I can be a player in the Shackled City AP. I heard it was good, so I bought the hardcover for Xmas. I...

The sorcerer as a unique class (with bloodlines - see post #1)

I realize I'm jumping in a bit late, but I want to throw in a sorcerer variant class from a few years ago, also made on ENWorld. I've used it in one of my campaigns, and the flavour and crunch were great. It's what you are looking, a seperate class with lots of options for heritage and...

    Weapon crystals, add properties

Well, the weapon crystals as written are pretty much okay. To use the example of the crystal that allows sneak attacks on undead. It is a Greater Crystal which costs 10,000 gp. A Greater Crystal can only be put on a weapon with an enhancement bonus of +3. So, that's another +18,000 gp. 28,000...

    Weapon crystals, add properties

The relatively cheap price of weapon and armour crystals makes them useful, but not overpowered. Along with their entire nature being that they can be easily switched to another crystal, putting two powers together in one crystal defeats their purpose. I would not allow this as a DM.

    Summon Monster II

From the SRD spell description for Summon Monster I "You choose which kind of creature to summon." I would rule as a DM that the caster can choose to summon a riding dog that is trained for war, as that is explicity written in that creatures description. Yes, this may open a can of worms for...

    Shackled City AP starting crew

Herobizkit - Two reasons. 1) I've played a few monks in my time and while I enjoyed them, I won't be choosing one again for a while. There are other classes to break out. 2) Chameleon is a great PrC that I would love to try, but with a different group or campaign. The point of a chameleon is to...

    Shackled City AP starting crew

Alright, so the Wizard is a lock. As I wrote in my OP, I know how to tweak the Conjurer [if I go that route], although Necromancy could be fun, too. Necromancy from a good guy POV, "Know thy enemy" and all that. As for the druid, while a solid choice, I will pass. I am playing one in another...

Unique Golem (My players stay out)

How about a red-hot body, which simultaneously burns anyone attacking it in melee (an extra +2D6 damage or something) and also providing Fast Healing 3 [or Self-Repair 3, for name flavour].

    Shackled City AP starting crew

Thanks for the suggestions! Keep'em coming! I think I'll stick with a wizard then . My wife likes pole-arms, so her cleric will be using one [we often use the Weapon Groups variant from UA], to still get some action from the rear line. Any other ideas for a front-line melee type? Olaf -...

    Shackled City AP starting crew

Soon I'm handing the DM reins over, for a while. I bought the Shackled City AP (only read relevant parts of starting the adventure) and will be handing that AP off to a player who'll DM. There are only 4 of us in the group, so we have 3 players. The AP states it was made ideally for 6...

    The Darkness character or template???

Monk + Warlock A warlock's invocations will cover lots of the effects you want: summoning (Hungry Darkness, The Dead Walk, Summon Swarm, etc), blasting his "pistols" (eldritch blast), black tentacles (chilling tentacles), shadow step (Flee the Scene), etc.

    Recharging items, particularly staffs

Thank you for the suggestions. So, the reason a recharge wasn't included in the core rules is because it's easy to abuse? It seems odd, though, that a magic staff out of magic (charges) is a useless piece of wood (metal, stone, whatever). I can't imagine that a powerful wizard would have old...

    Recharging items, particularly staffs

Are there any official rules about recharging magic items, particularly staffs? This is more for flavour reasons, but also to put back in limited charges if money or time is a factor. Would a rough guide of 1 charge = cost of staff divided by 50 be appropriate? Cheers
