Goods & Gear is an outstanding book - best in class. I have no interest in the Kalamar world, but this big guy is the :):):):).

Following up to my earlier post. . . I bought it, and am fervently attempting to finish it. It's sweet, real sweet. Lot's of in-depth history, very creative description and milieu. She looks like a winner, so far.

* SIDEBAR * "Goods and Gear" is a Kalamar supplement which is, in my opinion, one of the best general gear books out there. I am not a Kalamar player, but it is so easy to use across any fantasy milieu. A&8 RAWKS, too!

I loved the LotR books, and the Hobbit, and then was asked to sit in a game with my best friend's older brother: The Village of Hommlet!

Sure, they're in the book as pages, and most of them significantly less than 8.5" x 11".

Not a review - I took a quick flip at the local semi-FLGS, and was completely flabbergasted at the lack of any maps. At first,I assumed that perhaps the maps had fallen out, or were maybe being kept safe at the front counter. Nope. No maps. What gives, WotC?
