You say one should multiply the price of such an Item with 5? So, 8000 GP x5 makes 40000GP, which is exactly the price i gave in my last post. :D

Nice idea, but it would be more suitable to have such an item than different weapons with this enchantment (one melee, one ranged for example) and, of course, it would work on ray spells too. :p

Just to get it right for me... Casting a spell with casting time "1 swift action" AND a spell with a casting time of "1 standard action" is possible per raw. But casting two quickened spells as swift actions is not ( one as swift action, one swapping a standart action for it)? In this case...

This could be a another start: Changeling (from MM III, LA +0) Fighter 4/Warshaper 3. Not a standard race, but has Morphic Reach (10 feet) at CL 7. With a potion of Enlarge you might get the 15 ft. reach, with a nonreach melee weapon. With a spiked chain, you get the 15 ft reach without Enlarge.
