You're right there is no FTL travel, thats why they chose to set up home in a large system (converting most of the moons (some didn't take though)) They got there via STL and cyrogenics ;)

Na he's just got the rights for D&D, with Greyhawk implied (and Knightfall1972, unless they decided to change things, it is Temple of Elemental Evil, I havn't heard anything else) But better still is the "Forgotten Realms" movie, ;)
