How would having it be an actual poison have helped your character?

What, wait? So if a player is a team player, they're not playing their own characters? And I don't play, I DM for a game with a summoner in it, and he's frustratingly annoying cause the edilon can do just as much damage as the melee characters in the party, and the summoner cna cast spells...

Also, because the Eidolon can be/is a large part of a party's damage output the other members of the party make an effort to protect the summoner so that they don't lose both the spell casting potential of the summoner (Haste in every encounter) and the Damage output of the Eidolon.

I think one of the larger changes, which is mentioned in some of the books, is that any sort of activity that would occur at night now occurs during the day or involves sleeping at the location of the event. So things that the players may expect to take place at night now doesn't.

I think it's about 6.50, but the AP costs $14 an issue so it comes out to a little over 20 plus exchange, which is pretty close to what you'd pay in stores, plus you get a PDF which is nice.

That's true of any edition change. If you're happy with the game you're playing now, why switch to something new? Unless you have to have the newest version of something to be happy. As a happy pathfinder player I don't see a reason to switch.

Negative. I think 5E (or whatever) will be successful, but I don't see how it can be successful enough for the powers that be and WotC/Hasbro. Not because it will be a bad game or because it wont sell well, but because the market just isn't large enough to generate the profit that they want...

As someone with a stable pathfinder game, I'm not really sure who I'm supposed to be getting "unity" with.... WotC wants to get unity it the market, cause that's good for them, but I don't really see why that's good for ME as an individual user....

You can also tell there's a problem because the author listed is wrong, both on the image and on the page description itself. It's by Rob McCreary, not James Jacobs or Paizo staff (which is usually what they put before the author's been decided on).

I'm pretty sure there's only one cover (the troll one), do you have links to what you're talking about? The purple one might be the mock up cover they did orignally for their website before the actual cover had been made.

I think it's probably for the seperation of the player and DM book lines. All of that material had been printed in the DM line, but if players don't have that and pick this up there would be a large gap in knowledge.

I do find it interesting though that WotC's subscription model is in many ways modeled after the payment systems for many MMOs (and no I'm not saying 4E == WoW). And now many MMOs, excluding the really big ones *cough*WoW*cough* are converting to free to play supported by microtransations...
