    Immortals Handbook website back up

Something like that should be easy enough. There sort of was no specific mechanic for AC and Damage boosts by size in 1st/2nd Ed. as best I can remember. Though we always assumed a staggered +50% on HP between divine ranks which seemed in keeping with the 1st Ed. Deities & Demigods. I do...

Qwex'Atal'Xiel'Sura, and other possible monsters/bits of fiction for the Immortal's Handbook (Just a concept, no stats yet.)

I like the idea of a war fleet of pure, scorching fire. Certainly powerful if it can twist all the angels into ungodly abominations. I think your text went a bit wonky near the bottom of the post - I am guessing you added musical notes or something and the font is perhaps not embedded.

Tales from my soon-to-be Immortal Game

Good that you have their backstories in place, which should make creating a Nemesis for each character fairly simple. Plus as we discussed privately, might have something revolving around the Dragon Queen in the Epic Bestiary. ;) A five character party is slightly tougher, but easily dealt with...

I assume you mean Conversion materials amigo? I appreciate the support as always.

    Immortals Handbook website back up

Well not sure about a "video" on the matter. I am not a Youtuber. Not to mention the Belfast accent is an acquired taste. :D But I could have an article about how to convert such a character - EXTREMELY simple. I might convert my own (current) character who just hit Level 20 literally 3 hours...

    Immortals Handbook website back up

Well I'm a bit of a sentimental sod buddy, so I'll keep the website going as long as I am able. Though while I am here - anything you guys would like to see in the new (5e content) Website? Will have the epic dragon I don't think will be able to go in the book for copyright reasons, so will...

    Immortals Handbook website back up

Nice of you to say so buddy. I think most people gravitate to the Neutronium Golem for obvious reasons. Expect even more ridiculously epic monsters in the new 5e books. In talking about their new 5.5e Monster Manual, I recall WotC asked people what would a Challenge Rating 23 Ooze look like...

    Immortals Handbook website back up

Well I appreciate the very kind words amigo. I'll try not to let you all down - other than my one kryptonite being the length of time it takes me to finish the darn thing. Confident the new books, when completed will set a new benchmark...at least for me. In fairness they sort of got the ball...

    Immortals Handbook website back up

I appreciate the kind words amigo. Lets get these 5e books finished and see how we do. Interestingly, I have been able to put a few of the old monsters into the new Bestiary. So there might be a half dozen old faces among the 150 or so new ones.

Happy to keep it up and running. Put a lot of love into that old site. ;) ...who knows, something better might come along.

    Immortals Handbook website back up

Hey guys, had to go back and forth five times between Domain Registrars and Web Host to get the website back up and running, but just to let you know (FWIW) the old website is back. www.immortalshandbook.com I will have a new website for the forthcoming 5e Epic/Immortals books (new product...

    D&D (2024) Wow, 5.5e characters are STRONG!

I assume that is what you mostly play, but their math gets more 'off'' as the CRs increase. I disagree, I think it is possible to balance. But the caveat being the CRs must be accurate to start with. Mike Shea's 20 HP and 7.5 DPR per CR is a good baseline up to CR 20 (then double the amount...

    D&D (2024) Wow, 5.5e characters are STRONG!

We live in hope that WotC sort out the chronic under-powered (supposedly high CR) monsters that have blighted every book they have released for the past decade. Fizban's Treasury of Dragons & Glory of the Giants don't fill me with confidence they have a handle on high-level play. Hopefully they...

D&D 5E ASCENSION, The Codex of Exalted, Book 1: Players Guide

Best of luck with it dave2008 buddy - I know how time-consuming these things can be. Thanks for the kind words buddy. I am a few months from having the 368 page Player's Guide finished (Taking players from Level 20 up to Divine Ranks 1 through 30...where a Greater God like Zeus would be Divine...

    Things from my setting

Hey Obly99 buddy! :) For me I say those damage types should not ignore hardness. However, you have to suspect maybe Disintegration would ignore hardness since it unbinds molecules.

    Epic Spellcasting Questions

Fire away amigo! There is a divine ability that lets you cast higher level spells, if you take it being able to cast Level 9 spells you can now cast Level 10 spells, etc. If you don't take it, you have to risk using mitigating magic (sacrifice etc. ) to 'attempt' to cast these epic spells...

    Epic Spellcasting Questions

Hey Obly99 buddy! Very in depth. I'd just be worried with 60+ stat-block changes/powers, not counting the 90+ spells that it looks a fraction unwieldy in play. Then again I know 3.5E is a complex beast at the best of times and I am well out of the loop in terms of 3.5E design, so "go for it!"...

Something very similar to the first four divine ranks but with some handy-dandy evil powers options.

    Epic Spellcasting Questions

You are playing 3.5E though - I'm specifically thinking of 5e. I convert Immortals to Challenge Rating (not Level), they base everything off Challenge Rating because Levels are approx. 2/3rds of a Challenge Rating (on average). So summoning CR 17 monster is VASTLY more powerful than having a...
