I actually got to play Pandemic for the first time this weekend. Its a great game and I really really enjoy the collaborative gameplay. I also liked the premise. Our medic kept shouting "I'm healing the world" when removing a cured disease by moving.

I think its safe to assume that most people already know Superman's origin story or know enough about Superman not to care It could just be a 3 min montage or narration at the start. That way they can just get on with things.

Its a decent system. So I pretty much echo what others have said here. worth checking out. I should mention that if you don't like arbitrary randomness in char creation, set 2 gives optional rules to remove that.

I preferred the 4e names. They made the dinosaurs seem to fit in more. Instead of wondering why dinosaurs are attacking my knights castle, I thought "Ah Drakes, fantasy monster, might be a distant relation of dragons"

Armour hit points and DR are things that I've found to work well in theory but become bothersome at the table.

Episode 2 was pretty good I thought.

I enjoyed it. Some of the dialogue and acting was a bit off, but I enjoyed the style of the show. An Arrow is as fatal as a bullet. There aren't degrees of fatal.

Not really a fan of items that change ability scores (or anything that + or - ability scores during play) I think that could rather use the space to make more interesting items.
