QFT. Though I was surprised that UA was not mentioned in the OP, since that was clearly hinted at.

The CB has the ideal option of noting whether a build is legal or house ruled. Clearly, once a MM race has been chosen it should note your build is not legal anymore. That would solve all confusion.

It makes sense to associate physical stats with combat, exercise, heat, warmth and thus reddish colours. Just like associating mental stats with rationality and calm. My list: STR: Red DEX: Yellow/Green CON: Brown INT: Blue WIS: White CHA: Purple/Pink

I'm only around from early 3.5 but I'm a great fan of Planescape and own a number of boxed sets. I love the feeling of having a boxed set. You basically have a 'theme' for the box, and the box contains a number of goodies. A monster book, a player's book, a DM's book and a poster size map...

Is the reason the MM write up of races is for DM reference only that it doesn't fully function in the character builder? I tested and it seems that the Oversized Weapon property is not taken into account in the character builder. Or you're supposed to select a Large weapon but this doesn't seem...

I love this idea. I thinking I'll be implementing this one. Myself I implement a lot of direct mechanical tweaks to both PC's and monsters to speed up combat.
