A tribute to Dogma by Kevin Smith, it's...

Just bumping this because I'm working on the 3.5 version...

Which is the toughest monster ever?

No, no, it is the nilbog, trust me.

    What is your favorite dragon

Me. Oh, you wanted a serious answer, hmm, a though, I think I would have to go with the Gas Dragon because, well, I made it. If I have to choose an official dragon from a D20 book, I would have to go with the Shadow Dragon. 8 negative levels on a failed save is badass.

The Shadowlands Oni (Updated 10-17: oni Overlord)

You too! A tip: If you want to be really, really evil, add the half-fiend template to the mountain spider. :] Demiurge: Looking good.

Which plants should be in an article for Dragon magazine? (Poll #2)

Of course it doesn't have to be limited to plant creatures, only to creatures with a plant connection. :D Btw, I like the idea of the Sporacle to be related to the gas spore...

Which plants should be in an article for Dragon magazine? (Poll #2)

It could be a fungus related to the gas spore. Btw, the Pooka should be a fey, not a plant.

    Large Bugbear

I would up the LA to +3, but other than that it looks good.

    Alu-Fiend

Khisanth I have no problem with as his is different enough from mine, the new guy however... Evilhalfling: I don't know about the new guy, but mine is a dragon name, and a deviation of the name of the black dragon of Xak Tsaroth.

Return of the Shark Devil (Potamotrygon)

This place seems a little dead now adays, so here is something that hopefully will get things going again. The 3.5 stats for the Potamotrygon, also known as the Shark Devil. If someone would be willing to write up an intro to it (you know, the cursive text from the MM descriptions), I would...

They're back: Return of the Slivers. [Updated 24/8-2005: Beware the Overlord!]

Symbiotes can be of any creature type. The symbiotes in the fiend folio for example are Aberrations, Outsiders, and one undead.

They're back: Return of the Slivers. [Updated 24/8-2005: Beware the Overlord!]

Slivers don't usually make items as they have no real need for them. That said however, they do create metallic slivers, and they have been known to build what can only be described as cyclopean architecture. Rust slivers... I like it, I might make those if I ever decide upon making more...

    Literary Origins of D&D Monsters

True. Which in turn was inspired by Lovecraft's Deep Ones. It even wants to mate with a human!
