D&D General D&D Endless Quest Books, Which was your favorite?

Favorite? Its a toss up. Dungeon of Dread, because it was the first one I got (birthday? Christmas? I don't remember) Return to Brookmere because it made many of the monsters more than just something to stick a sword into. Either one of those -- site-based -- would make for a decent-ish adventure

D&D 5E The Next D&D Book is JOURNEYS THROUGH THE RADIANT CITADEL

It worked for much of the D&D line in the 80s and 90s

D&D General How has D&D changed over the decades?

The Garycon '18 "Five Generations of D&D' panel was very enlightening.

D&D 5E When you've made the battle too much to handle...

"Knocking a Creature Out Sometimes an attacker wants to incapacitate a foe, rather than deal a killing blow. When an attacker reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack, the attacker can knock the creature out. The attacker can make this choice the instant the damage is dealt. The...

    D&D 5E Is D&D 90% Combat?

To be fair, most of that was minutiae about Wish and the various flavors of Polymorph spells.

TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

This. Brevity is all well and good, but if it is unclear, you've sort of defeated the purpose.

WOIN Paying from Damage Pools, N.E.W

Per the sidebar on p. 166, you're decreasing your attack dice pool to increase the damage dealt (at a 2 -for-1 rate), and/or "paying" to activate an exploit that has a cost (listed in the exploit's description).

Live Music: What Are Your 5 Most Unforgettable Concerts?

Stabbing Westward, at the White Rabbit. Hole-in-the-wall club, and they sounded better than on the album

I recommend going through Two Steps from Hell's stuff to see if anything grabs ya.

D&D General Rules vs. lore preferences in D&D sourcebooks?

If I wanted to read a Forgotten Realms novel, I'd have bought a Forgotten Realms novel.

    WOIN Pinning down timing

Have you been fighting the Golem or Tarrasque that whole time? If not, then your attack only gets the bonus(es) if the target doesn’t move after that first attack. I’m not sure how heavy a sleeper Tarrasques are.

    WOIN Pinning down timing

... the round after the target stops moving? Target hunkers down, thinking he's safe behind cover. Target stays put his next turn, only popping up to lay down suppressive fire. Ranged attacks against him are at +1D6. Lather, rinse, repeat for the next round, with ranged attacks now getting a...

    Known World source?

Considering that the Hollow World boxed set came out in 1990, it's a good guess that would've been homebrewed stuff.

    D&D 5E Is 5E "big enough" for a Basic/Advanced split?

I'm running a play by post that is 98% Basic Rules. I allowed the Variant Human, which every player playing a human has taken, rather than the standard (and, frankly, boring and lazy) +1 to ALL OF THE STATS! I may eventually tailor the human variant to the various nationalities of the Known World.
