A good song to play during an elven funeral?

I suggest you check out the a cappella and acoustic versions of "Voices" from Macross Plus, could work real nice if no one in your group is a total anime buff.

Skill emphasis and similar feats - do they stack?

Yes, Skill Focus of course! I'm stuck in the d20 Modern lingo. :o Thank you for your answers!

Skill emphasis and similar feats - do they stack?

Hey folks. I've been thinking about something... There are some feats that are basically the same as Skill emphasis but with a unique name and some nice flavourtext - do these stack with each other? The only hands on example I have ATM is Saddleback (Wheel of Time Background Feat but I'm sure...

212 Odd, Useless, Interesting, and other wise non-sensical magic items

Mumfhubbla's Green Cloth of Allurement The (decently) great wizard Mumfhubbla once grew tired of lonely nights and so decided to do something about it. He picked out his best garb and enchanted it. Soon, Mumfhubbla was known as one of the worlds greatest lovers. And no one could undestand...

    Only one animal companion?

Greetings! My friend just came to me with a question - is there a restriction to how many animal companions a PC can have in D&D (3.5)? He can't find any answer in the books and I'm clueless so... what's the deal guys (and gals)?

Drinks to try on my 21st?

But... you're a student! Then you gotta have Bluff as a class skill, right? :p (I actually typed in the skill "Bludd" at first... what have I been drinking...? :\ )

    Your username's origin?

People have read (or at least seen) Ivanhoe, right? I picked the name DeBracy when I was signing up to try some online strategy game and it's sorta caught on. I like it... Simple and elegant. ;)

[Black Company] Any use for generic campaign?

By looking through the previews and this thread I've definitly gotten interested in getting Black Company for running generic fantasy campaings (probably along the lines of WFRP). One thing I really like is something as simple as the backgrounds. For some reason that approach isn't all to common...

Easy to learn full-blooded magic system

Well, rycanada... first off I'd like you to know that your friend "adanacyr" doesn't need to feel a bit ashamed. Really. I myself got the Wheel of Time RPG a long time ago and boy it took me a long long time to understand how magic worked. First off I never quite understood what kind of check...

What are the sniping/aiming rules for d20 modern?

Blood & Guts has a Sniper AdC/PrC (whichever it is)... Doesn't Urban Arcana have one as well...? Maybe it was in the web enhancement even? Indeed! Sniper prestige class available in the web enhancement: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20modern/we/20030529a

    Geeking out with Vin Diesel

I saw the movie last week after seeing Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury as well... I liked them as a whole but I don't know if I'd really like 'em separate.

    Enworld Internationale!

I'd say five or more then. Well, I guess you get the point - the Swedes are here, ready to take on all the silly ideas about Vikings you other guys might have, together with the Norwegian. ;)

[Star Wars] Horror in Star Wars??

My cousin is the local Star Wars freak where he lives and he always runs a Star Wars game on the local con (this year it revolved around the daily duties of a squad of Storm Troopers, GMed 4 sessions myself ;) ). Last years scenario was very different though... A group of Jedis are sent to...

    I like Linnorms. Do you?

Well, I can't tell you what it "actually is" but here in Sweden they're called Lindorm. :) Never pictured them as cool, probably because it was right next to the "real" dragons in a book for Swedish Drakar och Demoner ("Dragons and Demons"), but now that I think it... it's quite cool. I think...

Really obscure (and often expensive) hobbies

A grand total of about $440 or so doesn't sound too expensive to me. I play the saxophone (mainly baritone) I've paid between $450 (my first sax, an alto) and $3500 (my black & gold Yanagisawa baritone). Maybe this kind of stuff is a lot cheaper over there? I'm from Sweden and wind instruments...

    New Bullet Points is up

I must comment one thing: I really really like his attitude! He really makes it clear to me that it is MY game. First and foremost I'm basing this on his ruling on the Gnolls LA but I guess it's even more evident in his answer regarding the Burst Fire feat. Thumbs up! :)

    New mutations; how many points?

I'd say 5 MP is pretty fair after looking through the other mutations in d20F. I compared it mainly to Skeletal Reinforcement: +3 to your MDT, -1 die on damage from falls, 5MP. I won't claim that I'm any good with rules but +3 to MDT seems better than +3 to the roll whereas ignoring 25% och all...
