d20 Future has rules for low-gravity environments. D&D (and possibly other d20 System rulesets) have rules for high altitude, which would work for low-oxygen worlds in a pinch.

I don't think d20 System comes anywhere near matching your gaming style. It's good that you're tinkering to get the system you want. I strongly disagree with the majority of your assertions, but others are already debating it fairly well. I'll only counter one point that hasn't been countered...

Can't you get a free publisher account and simply not gain any revenue until you've made $100 in profit (potentially never if you're releasing free product, I guess)? I thought that option was available at the ENGS.

We were never like this even when I started in 1st Edition at 10 years old. My PCs follow the law whenever there isn't a really good reason to ignore it (killing a peasant is not a really good reason).

I got this route. I'm using Elements of Magic - Revised, so anyone who wants to can cast spells if they feel it is thematically appropriate to the character, or just want to cast it regardless. What's really challenging for me as a DM is when every single PC can cast healing magic. :p

This is a good answer. I especially like the last sentence. Elegant is not the term I chose, but rather that of the OP in that thread. I didn't think it was a good word either, but to some people role-playing is an art. They would not enjoy the same games I do.
