I have never used any 3PP player contention my games. I would use adventures and monsters but I typically just convert older edition stuff.

I plan to stick with D&D. I really enjoy it. Whether I switch to One D&D and keep buying WotC stuff is up in the air at the moment.

I won’t stop playing. There is nothing coming up from WotC that I am super excited about so not buying anything in the near future. We will see how thing are later. If I don’t decide to switch to 6e I am perfectly happy with 5e that have bought already.

My 5e minion rules. Minions are defined by tier AC = 11 + proficiency bonus HP, Attack Bonus and Damage = proficiency bonus x 2 No damage on a successful save

Not sure I am moving on from 5e. I might depending on the OGL and how I like OneD&D. If not I am fine sticking with 5e. I still have lots of D&D stuff I want to do And it can be done in any edition.

I was thinking more about subscriptions.

We will never know if the leaks were true if they change it prior to release. The boycott ideas is a way to pressure them to make those changes. A boycott from me is pretty easy right now. I have nothing to give them money for anytime soon.

For me, my sub is paid until June (annual plan). We should know more about the OGL by then. Until this gets sorted out I won’t be buying more content but I don’t think there was anything I was super excited about in the near future anyway.

Cancelling a non-paying subscription really doesn’t hurt them at all. 😁 I guess it does send a message.

I am pretty happy with 5e and I am sure I will continue to play that. I have what I need to play it for perpetuity. I would also like to play more other games in the future, such as The One Ring, more FFG Star Wars, the Song of Ice and Fire RPG, etc. No shortage of options.

I agree with the complaint. My plan is to start the PCs at 3rd level and then only level them once each chapter instead of twice.

My preference would be a main product that was an overview of the world. Then have supplements that fleshed out different areas (preferably in the form of adventures) that I can purchase if I want more for particular areas.

They should ease up on the licensing.
