    The 3.5 Revised Ranger

This is good news, but by the way, where are the best alternate ranger classes posted? Any links would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

What is the best ranger class?

I know this has been discussed many, many times, but I'm curious to know if anyone has come to any conclusions. I already know about the major ones, but which ones do you like? Please post the links or information here, if you can. Thanks.

    Unarmed Combat: Pushing, strangulation, etc.

Anybody know about any free resources on expanding upon rules for unarmed combat such as pushing, strangulation, slapping, grabbing items out of pockets during melee, snatching items out of hands during melee, etc. Thanks.

Does anyone know when the revised SRD is expected to be coming out? Thanks.

    ENNies 2003 Jugdge Application Discussion/Questions

What day and time do you expect the ENNies to be held? I have to plan ahead so I don't miss it again!

    I love those gnomes!

Hehe, sounds like someone who'd write a funny book about gnomes. :D Thanks for the book suggestion, btw.

Who does Steve Jackson Think He's Kidding???

I don't know anything about Steve Jackson Games or Munchkin d20, but you cannot judge value simply by page count. It's the quality and kind of content, art, and production value that is important. Also, spacing issues are another thing to consider. Anyhow, what about Green Ronin's Shaman...

    ENNies 2003 Jugdge Application Discussion/Questions

I would think that judges should not have ANY kind of connection with publishers besides possibly serving as a reviewer or a playtester. It just seems inherently biased to have anyone who actually played a role in the production of a product to serve as a judge of that same product. Just my two...

    ENnies 2003 Judges!

Also, is this for 2002 products only or up to a certain deadline this year? I would think it would be great for the judges to look at products that are coming out this year, too, not just last year's products. For example, looking at pre-release copies can do a lot to exposure for the company...

    ENnies 2003 Judges!

When does judging begin? When are the nominations announced?

    I love those gnomes!

Hmmm, I thought you were "gnomed", so now it's less funny, but still a good pic anyhow. Kudos to you! Gez, nice definition of gnomes there. Did you write that up yourself? You must really like gnomes. I have to say though your pic freaks me out a bit. Where do clockworks come from anyhow? I've...

    TSR Q&A with Gary Gygax

Thanks for the detailed response! Are there any medieval history/culture books that you recommend? What are your all-time favorites in this category? Can you share any insights into how you write and any "no-no's" or "dont's"? Like do you think people it is better to write during the day or...

    I love those gnomes!

I hope I don't become a target for "gnoming" for saying this, but I have to say I love those gnome pics! I especially liked the one with the gnome in front of the DM screen for the guy who wanted to take over his players' PCs and convert them to NPCs. Who else likes the gnomes? Actually, I think...

    TSR Q&A with Gary Gygax

What's your daily routine like? Do you tend to write more during the day or night? How many words per day do your write, on average? Are there any rituals that keep you going? What kind of resources do you use? How often do you take notes on paper before getting on the computer? Do you do...

    Thinking Outside the Box

Despite the fact that I sound like I am disparaging "creativity", I am not. I totally agree with Henry about the fact that more times than not negative comments come out than positive ones on such subjects. For the starter of the thread, I'd say do what you want and you should keep in mind a...

    Thinking Outside the Box

Make changes and innovating are important aspects of developing a game world, but I do suspect that the idea of "creating" (if you can call it that) flesh-eating halflings was probably thought up of as an "opposite" idea. Just like goody dark elves, I find them highly annoying and nonsensical...

Art in the Revised Monster Manual that you'd like to see redone

I'm sure Peter Adkison would love to read this thread all over again. LOL. He once said the thing he hated most was hearing from fans how bad the they thought the art was in the Monster Manual. :)

Art in the Revised Monster Manual that you'd like to see redone

That's what happens when you try to be "different" and it fails.

    Thinking Outside the Box

It sounds to me like you are more turned off by recent products than with (what I would describe as) a "traditional" theme. You can still run a world of friendly halflings and savage orcs and have a lot of fun. It is NOT inherently boring. :p

out of here for weeks, be good!

Sounds like fun! Are you going to visit any castles or moors? I've always wanted to see what an actual "moor" looks like, hehe. I'm also interested in reading the report. :)
