    Overall it looks pretty good You dont need to bump monster CR's, just give the players a negative level adjustment (should be less work in the long run) Griffith has good suggestions too. Consider switching wholly to Conan RPG or Iron Heroes.

    the current height of the tower could be used to figure the bonus granted (i.e. more risk, more reward) also, you dont have to use all the blocks, maybe only 6 rows high. you'd still have to give out lots more action points for any real chance of collapse

    i agree with Nifft you shouldnt get something for nothing that said, i think barbarians have trap sense and uncanny dodge for the same reason so i'd allow dropping trap sense, UD, and IUD in exchange for a useful ability
