    Help me out here

Few more ideas... There is a a cool PrC in mini handbook... I forget the name, but instead of gaining BAB it gains +2 Str every level. It has some other cool features that escape me at the moment... There is a PrC in Complete Warrior. Grappler based class, again I forget the name. Mauler...

    Psionic deities?

What are the two psionic gods from the XPH? Isn't there one that is (or resembles) a Mind Flayer? If so, can anyone tell me the deities name, portfolio (domains) and alignment?

    BRONZE Weapons/Armor?

Thanks, I have Arms and Equipment at home so I will take a looksee

    BRONZE Weapons/Armor?

Yeah, I think I mean Bronze, lol... I was thinking Bronze but wrote Brass for some reason... Ok, same question then, but insert Bronze instead of Brass...

    BRONZE Weapons/Armor?

What effects would BRONZE have if I wanted to impliment BRONZE Weapons and Armor instead of the usual metals they are made of? Less damage? Easier to break (less hardness/hp)? Higher armor check penalty? Less weight? More weight? Bigger/Smaller Arcane spell failure??? EDIT: Doh, changed...

    Familiars and Share Spells Questions?

Isn't that contradictory? If the spell has a Target: You (like Expeditious Retreat) then the Wizard has to choose to either let it affect him OR his familiar, not both.

    Giant or Skeleton? Or both?

But not all giants fight the same way. An Ogre (a giant) and a Fire Giant (also a gaint) have different tactics. I would surmise that the dwarf isn't so keen on how giants fight, but rather they get the dodge bonus because of their size. Are you suggesting that a medium skeleton and a large...

    Familiars and Share Spells Questions?

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. Not too familiar with the difference Polymorphs, but it would be permanent if the duration said so. If it is a targetted spell, and the Wizard casts it on himself, he can choose to have it also effect his familiar. So if the Wizard cast Mage Armor on...

    Giant or Skeleton? Or both?

We had to fight a skeleton of a Fire Giant in the last session. Dwarves get a +4 dodge bonus vs. giants. The DM did not allow him to apply this because he said the skeleton fire giant lost the "giant" type and gained the "undead" type. He also stated that not every large creature is...

    Juggernaut..resurrected?

I thought your Wisdom bonus was added to your Will save, not Int? I always get that mixed up... Where are you getting that from? Or is this just how you would rule it? Why wouldn't you be Scrying the soul to begin with? Please use RAW to back up these assumptions. This is a very...

    Juggernaut..resurrected?

Unconcious characters are considered to be willing because they are still alive. A corpse is not alive, and therefore doesn't have a will.

    Juggernaut..resurrected?

They are not listed as having them either, so by RAW, they don't have them. Neither do Plants. Come to think of it, where does it specifically state that a Human, Orc, Elf, etc. has a soul? It's all "assumed" that they do, right? Or is it burried somewhere in the PHB (perhaps the glossary?)...

    Juggernaut..resurrected?

Because an "object" is not a valid target for Raise Dead? Can you cast Raise Dead on a table, chair or sword?
  14. RigaMortus

    Juggernaut..resurrected?

How can you be "willing" if you are dead? You have no Widsom, you have no "will". How can you take actions if you are dead? Who is the one taking the action? An inanimate corpse on the ground, or your "soul"? This may have been argued already, but... If a dead creature is considered an...

    Juggernaut..resurrected?

Where did you get that from? Is this actually stated somewhere in the RAW? Or is this your own interpretation? If it is your own interpretation, that is great for your campaign, but I think the OP was looking for facts backed up by the Core Rules.

Building a Sucessful Illusionist - Help Please - Repost to Correct Forum

You may want to check out the Illusionist varriants from UA. They seem a bit better to me than your standard Illusionist from Core 3.5. Spellcasting Prodigy isn't as good as it used to be. It was reprinted in one of the 3.5 FR books (Faerun Player's Guide perhaps?). Anyway, now it gives for...

Can fiendish animals coup de grace?

I'd say most animals could and would CdG. But as far as they're concerned, it wouldn't be called a "CdG". It would be called, "ripping the throat out" or whatever other manner they'd use to deliver a devastating blow to their prey. Mechanically though, I'd treat it as a CdG...

    Ulimate Monk Armor....?

Even so, you can't cover all your bases. Nor should you want to. If your character had the best AC, the best miss chances, the best saves, etc. so much so that they only got hit/affected 5% of the time... Well what's the point in even playing? You give a really good idea about "indirect" AC...

    Ulimate Monk Armor....?

Just a reminder, if you are playing by the Character Wealth "rules", no sinlge item can be equal to more than half of the character's wealth. So, for example, if a player's character wealth is 100k, he can't own a single item worth more than 50k.

    Tougher than adamantine

There is no rule that states you can't apply a penalty to an attack that doesn't require an attack roll. You can even PA on a CdG. And you can calculate an AC for the door very easily. Base 10 + Size modifier + Dex modifier (in this case it has no Dex, so -5).
