I disagree with some things in the OP's post, but I agree with this. :o Everyone has opinions, but not everyone states them in such well-organized and well-written ways, so kudos to Jim. You've given me some things to think about for when I DM my next game. :)

Bah. I've played all of ten minutes of Fallout 2 and this still looks awesome. Maybe Fallout 3 will actually make me want to go back and try to play through the first two. :)

360: Finishing a second playthrough of Mass Effect, Also played Gears of War on some co-op and just beat it on Hardcore! Insane difficulty co-op is next! :) Plus a little of The Darkness on the side.

I'd give that 'award' to The Fires of Heaven which was an awful book the last time I read it. The only thing redeeming the book was it's good ending, but then Lord of Chaos had the same problem.
