Wow - it's here already!
I have been sooo bad at keeping in touch. I'll be there with baked... things. (I don't know what they are yet.)
Looking forward to it!

It's good to be back
I like what y'all have done with the place!
I've missed you folks and this place too - family life took a toll on my outside engagements this year.
I have submitted my NPC to Barsoomcore, and I hope it passes muster.
Thanks for the warm re-welcome.
Crawling out from under my rock...
Thanks to PirateCat for drawing me out for this. Please sign me up for a slot in the Dino-Pirates game, and I'll start writing for Barsoomcore...
I'll also see if Mr. Nerfwright is interested in the gameday too.
(It's nice to be back, too!)

I received a copy of Joy of Cooking when I left home for college in the mid-80's. It had an extensive section that could be best described as 'Roadkill'. It would be an interesting template for this project... :D
The Jester,
Your story hour for that campaign is the reason I found EN World; I was googling for all-halfling foodie party ideas, and you *nailed* it. So, um, thanks! :)
Giant Land Crab = 'Dirt Lobster' still makes me smile.
Please slot me in (if still avaialble) for Qualidar's OPERATION:NO SECRETS in the morning, and PirateCat's Skullduggery in the afternoon.
It will be good to game again and catch up with you-all!
And we're back...
Indeed, Mr Wright and I are planning on attending! (Thanks to Cassander and Fraisala for bringing us back into the fold.)
I hope the board traffic allows for equitable sign-ups.

Mont Saint-Michel
It has all the fantastic elements you could want (as long as you can look past the tour buses filled with American and German tourists):
A storybook castle and abbey built high upon a mount, encrusted by a tiny town around its flanks, and isolated by killer tides...
Bretbo, my husband (um, I guess we could call him Mr Wright) would be interested in playing in your game.
We were reluctant to bump Seonaid if she was about to opt in, however. So please alt him in instead if that's the case.
Thanks!
:)
It's tight for me on Thursday, but there is plenty of time over the rest of the con to squeeze in some dealer exhibit time. I spent way too much last year anyhow. Getting bored while traversing the dealer hall was a BAD thing. (Although I did score some nice loot.)
"Baltimore" by Lyle Lovett
I've always wanted to run a haunting/mystery theme based on this song, which is quite haunting and brooding with a fevered deathbed theme. The mystery would revolve around a dying man (or possibly his ghost) tortured by a matrilineal curse. I'd change the name of the...
We rescued a pair of hungry, orphaned kittens somewhere in a dungeon back in my AD&D days. (I think a ghoul ate their mother.)
They were extremely cuddly, and loved to curl up on your lap and purr and knead their paws while being petted. This was how we discovered that their claws involuntarily...
Antique junk.
I've used a very worn set of old, silver-plated fruit knives to hand to players as action point tokens. They are blunt and harmless but hefty and bladelike, and they look like they've been through a few battles.
Old and assorted foreign coins for money - I've also meant to try my...
I'll be be there, and I should be able to get the hubby to come to Gen Con with me this year.
Thanks for doing this, Brian. It'll be good to see you and yours again!
