I believe Dexterity can only be used when attempting to escape from a grappled condition (Pinned, Held, etc.) Whereas Strength must ALWAYS be used when "attacking" as a grappler. At least, thats how I would houserule it otherwise:) Calrin

Grappling... 1) Multiple grapple checks decline with BAB for the attacker, but multiple attempts to defend yourself do not, correct? And when it's your turn and you are trying to break the grapple, your attacks decline and the person resisting you getting free do not? Ok, I have my book open...

I'm only replying to #3 seeing as 1 and 2 are often subject to the DM's interpretation at the moment. Facings for medium creatures and smaller, up to Large (Tall) are all 5x5. Unless a special weapon gives you reach otherwise, you can only have 10' reach with a Large (Tall) creature and bigger...
