D&D 5E [OOC] Securing the Alliance: An Adventure in Tethyr [ENDED]

Forged Fury: As a reaction, could I cast Web to prevent the floor from falling out from under us? And assuming that I can do that, would that also prevent any of us from taking damage from falling debris as that also gets caught up in the webbing? I know - if this is allowed we are all stuck...

[D&D 5E] Securing the Alliance: An Adventure in Tethyr (IC)

Boddynock took note that the only thing magical in the room and immediate area was the ring on Brue's finger, scratching his head a couple of times. "Very interesting. If this...Vials, did you call him?...was here, he left no magical traces of his being so. And whoever took him did the same...

D&D 5E [IC] Egon's Lost Mine of Phandelver

Keira and Ana hold their ground out of the flood waters, while Endurance and Rebecca brace themselves for the second flood. Endurance and Rebecca are both holding themselves in the water, even if they are now more wet than they were before. Further in the cave, Gnash takes out the prone...

[D&D 5E] Securing the Alliance: An Adventure in Tethyr (IC)

Boddynock nodded his head at the bartender, thankful for their being allowed to check out the Harbor room. The bartender really had no good reason to let them do so, but there was a saying about catching flies with honey as opposed to vinegar; it seemed the kind words they had laid out to the...

D&D 5E [IC] Egon's Lost Mine of Phandelver

Keira and Ana stay in their respective spots, waiting for the oncoming flood to pass them by. Rebecca moves back towards the entrance, then throws a Sleep spell up at the Goblin on the bridge; the Goblin drops like a stone. Endurance then braces himself against the wall. Meanwhile, Gnash...

    D&D 5E [5E][OOC] Across the Faerun-iverse

Well, you technically could knock it down on the stairs. I know your primary objective is to get out of the tunnel, so I just wanted to clarify exactly what you are doing. My company wishes to go out this evening, so I won't get the chance to fully post until tomorrow morning. Which I'll do!

    D&D 5E [5E][OOC] Across the Faerun-iverse

Schmoe...I'm confused by your posted action. The Goblin is running AWAY from you as it is. Are you running after it and pushing it up the stairs? And sorry for not posting today; I've got unexpected company, and they kind of hosed my day.

[D&D 5E] Securing the Alliance: An Adventure in Tethyr (IC)

With things smoothed over, Boddynock lightens up a bit. He didn't blame the bartender for being cautious; one look at the carnage and broken furniture in the main tavern area told him that caution would probably be the norm for this man from this point on. Poor guy was just trying to earn a...

[D&D 5E] Securing the Alliance: An Adventure in Tethyr (IC)

Boddynock was once again lost in his thoughts, this time over the conversation regarding Haedirn. The man's name was definitely familiar, and he smiled at remembering the dealings his father had with him. Most of his childhood memories were decent ones...except when they involved his...

Well, let's see how much attention Boddynock paid to his studies. [roll0] EDIT: Natural 20! Woot!

[D&D 5E] Securing the Alliance: An Adventure in Tethyr (IC)

Boddynock was a bit befuddled by the sights of Port Kir. First the ogre at the gate, then seeing all of these inns laid to waste? Something terrible was definitely happening here, and it was now their job to find out what. And stop it. From the stolen artifact, to the broken treaty...and...

D&D 5E [IC] Egon's Lost Mine of Phandelver

Ana finally stops tumbling down the stream and regains her footing, more determined than ever to end this goblin "threat". Endurance casts Light on his shield, turning the black of the cave into a well-lit room. And it's a good thing that he did so; you can all now clearly see one Goblin above...

D&D 5E [IC] Egon's Lost Mine of Phandelver

The torch doused, you can hear the sound of the water rushing past you as it races towards the entrance to the cave complex. Endurance and Gnash somehow find each other and start to work on lighting another torch, while Ana gets dragged along the stream towards the entrance. Keira is lucky...

Here Come The PRESTIGE CLASSES! Plus Rune Magic!

I couldn't agree more. I'm allergic to power creep, and Prestige Classes made playing 3.5 a chore. I personally feel that the archetypes we have with the classes are fine. There are enough options already out there to customize a character without having to power game it with PrC's to death.

D&D 5E [IC] Egon's Lost Mine of Phandelver

The pounding of rock on rock stops after a few moments, but the silence that creates is immediately filled in by the roar of rushing water. A wave some 8 or so feet high comes rushing around the corner, threatening to sweep over you! Everyone except Keira, please roll a STR check against DC...

D&D 5E [OOC] Securing the Alliance: An Adventure in Tethyr [ENDED]

Apparently Boddynock is far too engaged in his own thoughts to notice anything else around him. Proficiency in a skill obviously does not translate to being very good at it! Forged Fury, did you dole out XP for the combat? Or do you do it where you give it out at specific points in the story...

[D&D 5E] Securing the Alliance: An Adventure in Tethyr (IC)

When they reached the gates of the city, Boddynock simply smiled at the guards and let the others do the talking. He knew that he was bound to babble on and on about something or other to do with tinkering if given the chance. "I mean, I think I have that figured out. Just need a small glass...

[D&D 5E] Securing the Alliance: An Adventure in Tethyr (IC)

The battle over, Boddynock stumbled a bit as he sat back down on the seat of the carriage. Pulling at the strings of magic was hard work, and the unbalanced nature with which he plucked those strings always left him feeling a bit woozy. Especially when he bent the forces beyond what they...
