    D&D 5E Forgotten Realms

I used to buy lots of 3e FR books, love the setting and my best campaigns were based there, haven't bought any 4e realms book, I realy hated what they did with it and even though I played 4e since it came out I couldnt stomach what they did to the realms. Warder

    D&D 5E Introductory game first?

I think that Ghosts of Dragonspear Castle is a good indication of what they intend to do with the basic game, publish a mini campaign for levels 1-10 with the core rules for the game along side it, as Mike said before the basic game will only support the fighter, Mage, Cleric and Rogue and...

D&D 5E Exclusive D&D Next Campaign available at Gen Con Only

After skimming through the PDF I can say that I think that it's a very we'll put product, I love the B&W art, both old and new and the layout is great, the beastiary and the how to play section is well putt and the the maps looks good enough. All in all it's a good book IMO. Warder

    D&D 5E L&L December 1st design finese. Part 2

A hand gun is a most easy to use weapon (much easier than a bow or a crossbow) but in professional armed service we are still get taught to avoid pointing a gun at someone who's at arms length because his chances to distrupt your shot are much higher than if here were 10 feet away, you can still...

    D&D 5E Introductory game first?

I think that reading this might be helpfull: D&D Next Goals, Part One D&D Next Goals, Part Two D&D Next Goals, Part Three D&D Next Goals, Part Four It's from one year ago but I think that they are still sticking to it, the most relevant one to this thread is in the second part. Warder

    D&D 5E L&L December 1st design finese. Part 2

D&DNext, as it is, is realy simple, the concentration rule is one of the more easy to use rules around the table, having damage interrupt it is also quite logical, also trying to use an heavy crossbow or a long spear on some who stand right next to you is hard and it's also logical. Compared to...

D&D 5E What rules would you like to see come back in 5E?

Not to mention that cyclic initiative completely changed the nature of fights in D&D, so it doesn't realy matter if there is a concentration roll or not since 90% of the times it doesn't come into play. I realy wish they add rules for per round initiative, and for moral checks. Warder

D&D 5E How They Should Do Feats

I don't think that this is how feats should work, I like the current scheme, going back to 3e/4e way would be the worst thing ever. Warder

    How big is Baldur's gate?

Hi folks, I'm running MiBG and I've been wondering how many people live in Baldur's Gate, couldn't find it in the campaign guide, anyone know? My gut feeling tells me that it's between 500,000-650,000. Warder

D&D 5E Obvious Attack Cantrips That Should Exist

I don't like attack cantrips, I have no problem with Spellcasters not needing to restore to crossbows but having spellcasters being able to shoot killing spells at will seems a bit much for me. My preferable attack cantrip is actually not an attack cantrip at all, I'd rather have the Mage being...
