I loved running Feast of Goblyns and introducing my players to Ravenloft. My munchkin players didn't like Ravenloft so much. :LOL:

What's with all the (presumably) D&D 2E players??? That seems weird. (Especially since 1E isn't there.) (Unless they are all playing Planescape, which I would totally understand. :) )

Kudos to the D&D 5E team - what an amazing hit. PF2 seems to be struggling to convert over PF1E fans.

Same here. I absolutely loved Chronicles and Legends as a teenager (3+ decades ago). The novels after those weren't awful, but they did lack the "spark and energy" (as you say) for me as well. Maybe it was the character of Raistlin that was the best part of the original trilogies for me...

Yeah, I think this is a killer right now. Over-supply is huge. It's likely affecting all of the various markets for creative writing (RPGs, fiction, etc.).

That's essentially (no pun intended) what WotC did with 4E. It didn't work out very well for them.

The pie may grow a little, but it's not going to grow enough unless something is done about the supply side. Too much good content already available, and more coming every day.
