dmdcdubs, For the time being, I have added an image URL field to the character generator. If this is set to the URL of a valid image it will show up in the character details page for the character and in the PDF character sheets...

Agreed Magistus71, thanks for your feedback. It does provide the ability to save your data, but it just saves to your browser's storage and the data can easily be inadvertently removed if you clear browsing data or if you use other applications that use a lot of browser storage. Plus you can't...

So I've played every version but 4e. I've heard mention that the character generator was awesome, but flawed. Does anyone care to elaborate about what was great about it and what was flawed? That would really help a lot.

That, ideally, is where I would like to take OrcPub if things work out. The application is pretty rough right now because I'm testing the waters, but I'm thinking if there's enough interest I'll do a Kickstarter to fully flesh it out, with a really slick modern interface, cloud storage, and tons...

For those who requested point buy for abilities, I added that. Now you can select from 'Random', 'Point Buy' and 'Free Form' options, 'Free Form' allowing users to just directly input existing characters' abilities.

Yaarel, the app does save the data to your browser storage, which should keep it until you either remove it or it fills up. Newer browsers have a pretty big storage capacity so this shouldn't be a problem for most users. It does restrict your data to one device however. I do plan to add cloud...

Thanks for your feedback Voort. Due to limited space, it just shows the STR bonus, but if you save and view the saved character the details do mention finesse. Maybe I should show whatever score is highest STR or DEX for finesse weapons, since most players would probably use whichever is...

DMAesh, currently there's no way to do a point buy, but you can manually swap the scores using the text box in the 'Base' column of the attributes. I'll try to add point buy tonight.

Lucas, excellent catch with the HPs, I will fix that shortly. As far point buy on ability scores, I do have plans to implement it. I'm thinking I'll add several different options for ability scores: point buy, free form (let people enter whatever they want), and strict accordance with the rules...

I've thought I would like to provide several different options for character sheets, maybe even some level of sheet customization. I'm very open to thoughts on the matter.
