    D&D 4E Hypothetical 4e Class List

In my opionion all classes should stay. D&D == core classes, so generic classes or a classless system would not be appreciated by me. I think the current core classes cover almost anything you can think of. (maybe with a houserule or 2). The only class that WOTC should look at is the monk. He...

Campaign Ended by... Bad Dice Rolls.

Make sure not one except you uses your dice. ;) You might also try to use a computer-based dice roller. Random numbers generated by computers are 'really' random.

    Who 'blogs?

I for one don't like and don't read blogs. I think a blog is helpful for expressing yourself. Otherwise it has no use. Imagine who does like to read what you did or thought today (except your family or friends)

    How do like your PDFs?

I also like bookmarks on the side. They make navigating easy because you can use them from everywhere in the document. Although, even if a pdf does not contain bookmarks, I would still buy it if its interesting enough. I also tend to read more in non-bookmarked pdfs, this might be because I like...

    Warcraft RPG...any good?

Some players in my gaming group used to have characters made from the Warcraft RPG book. Quite cool characters. We did however never play the Warcraft rpg itself. Only used races and ideas from it. This means it is at least an interesting book.

What would you like to see in Windows?

Windows users should not use an root/admin account by default. I like the way my OS X box handles this: it prompts for the superuser password if needed. This will improve security, because if the system is going through important changes, the user will at least notify this because he is promted...

    Motivation

I used to play in 2 groups, some people of those 2 groups played in those two groups, others in only 1 of the 2. We played every week, one week group 1 on Tuesday the other week group 2 on Wednesday. But as the years passed, the tuesday group fell apart. Some players did not like it any more...

    RPGNow Ad Copy Poll

I indeed misunderstood the 'copy'. When it comes to background I would go for 2 or 5.

    RPGNow Ad Copy Poll

Something between style 1 and style 2. (I voted 1) I would certainly mention something about the price, tell them they can buy books that cost just $5. Some people unfamiliar with rpgnow/ebooks might think that pdf books are just as expensive as regular books. (at least in Europe, many don't...

    Computers/Laptops at the gaming table?

I don't like laptops at the gaming table. The 'true' pen and paper feeling is something I like.

Why are Mind Flayers considered "cool villains"?

I do like the mind flayers but I find them too 'alien' for most campaigns. I do like 'classic' monsters. And furthermore I don't like monsters that eat brains. I like monsters that swallow whole adventurers. ;)

whats your favorite stat, if you had all 13's and 1 18, where would the 18 go?

Most characters I play have a high dex and high cha. I usually play bards. They need Cha because it's their primary stat for skills and magic. Dex is nice because bards can only wear light armour, and because I like archers.

Introducing role-playing to people from other cultures and religions

The problem is often, that devote believers don't like to worship anyone / anything else than their own god. They even don't like 'their' characters to worship Torm or Illmater or whatever... So for some of those people, real-life religion in an RPG helps. If you introduce (let's say a...

Seems fixed indeed. Good job Michael :) I'm a programmer myself, and I know how it feels when you come home after a long day and a number of annoying bugs are waiting for you ;)

    Why Are Bards...Bards?

I truly like this concept... 'The mumbler' I guess I will use in the near or distant future. :)

    Why Are Bards...Bards?

Bards can be anything you wish them to be. The archetype is more 'expert' than minstrel, although I also like the 'minstrel'. The jack of all trades master of none thing does really work! I usually play bards: here are some roles that my bards played (usually not just one of them but often the...
