I mean it’s pretty obvious what was going to happen. Monsters of the Multiverse is effectively the Monster Manual 2 to the forthcoming 2024 Monster Manual. Material from Tasha’s either needs to be incorporated into the core books or abandoned as this is the only book that is a patch to the rules...

I haven’t actually ran the 2e modules but the DA series of modules seem to be a similar idea to this 5e adventure

I understand the motivations behind the design of them but its ended up as something unrecognisable as Kender. I hope the tweaks do something to address that. I’m glad at least that they don’t seem to be re-writing Dragonlance history with this

I think this is a real missed opportunity. They could easily have used this to showcase lots of classic and new settings. The book would have been a lot more interesting if each adventure was written by an author from a different country who could have worked some of the local folklore into...

I quite like starter sets. It gives you a chance to try out the game with your group without either paying too much or spending ages learning the full game only for it to prove unpopular or fail to get played due to time constraints

While the new book’s changes are currently being labelled as options, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that they will very soon be the default. When the revised Monster Manual is released, it will follow suit with this style of change, I’m hoping that Monsters of the Multiverse is future...

Previous errata, was just errata. This new stuff is a change. I’m undecided about some changes and against others. I would have been surprised if they gave the new versions for free but I’m glad the old versions haven’t been erased.

We’ve had great fun in our group with Kenku characters and their unique method of communication and I’m disappointed with the changes. Are the changes purely to stop people finding humour it what could be seen as a speech impediment or a language barrier? Not my point of view but is that WotC...

I guess most folks just read the original 6 books and maybe a few others. It depends how far back the reboot goes
