    God Rules: Players Guide (5e)

Shame that such a wrench has been thrown into your plans. Still excited about the book and the miniature (even if i can only get an STL). The quality of content has looked superb so far, and i will certainly be getting everything i can related to it.

    D&D 5E Final Fantasy XV for D&D

A young regaltrice that generally poses no threat to humanity at large. Mass hatchings are reported on rare occasion, however, and the baby birds flock outward from their natural habitat. It is at this point hunters are called upon to cull the burgeoning population. Regaltrice Medium Beast...

    D&D 5E Final Fantasy XV for D&D

A baby bird living near the Vesperpool. It is all but impossible to discern a young male from a young female at first glance. A normally docile creature, the chickatrice will only attack in self-defense—and inflict considerable damage on its assailant when it does. Chickatrice Medium Beast...

    D&D General Ships & spellcasters

As powerful as a single mage is or can be, they wont be the only member aboard any ship. Training someone to use a musket would be significantly cheaper both time-wise and monetarily to do in large groups. Lore wise, wizards are unlikely to join, as they spend their time learning, sorcerers may...

D&D General How the heck do you fight a medieval war in winter?

At most, 11 + your Dexterity modifier

D&D General How the heck do you fight a medieval war in winter?

I would assume that combat would basically be halted during winter and its more about taking each other’s supplies. Typical fighting would resume around late winter/early spring

    D&D 5E [+] Pointy Hat’s Battlefield Actions

I think this is a great idea, and it’s easy to implement into Homebrew. Even if you tack this idea onto a pre-existing monster, it should be simple enough to consider how much it empowers the boss. It doesn’t directly impact action economy, so legendary actions and lair actions are still...

Ravus Nox Fleuret is the former prince of Tenebrae, and after Niflhiem’s occupation, he has become the High Commander of the conquering nation. His nation was conquered when he was a young man, and he saw his mother burned alive in the confrontation. Though the crime was committed by the...

D&D 5E More DnD Beyond 3PP with monster hunting, harvesting, and more!

I haven’t completely dived into it, but it’s a great book with fun monsters. Much bigger than i expected. The warlock parasite patron is super cool, as is much of the book’s content. Not as many monster’s as i expected when i got it, but still fun.

D&D General Do you track ammunition?

Oops, my bad. Thought i changed it back. We use silver standard at my table, but its easy to pretend that is says gold instead.

D&D (2024) Downtime activity: Weapon Mastery Crafting

You could have any existing or new weapon mastery be able to be applied to a feasible weapon. All pole like weapons could topple, all heavy weapons can push, etc. An example could be “Skewer” where you deal extra damage to Prone targets, and it can only be applied to piercing and slashing...

    D&D 5E Downtime Activity: Spellcrafting+

I knew that the benefits were powerful, hence why it currently becomes so expensive and time consuming as you reach higher spell levels. My idea was that it could take course over a longer period of time, considering that you are creating a brand new spell. For the sake of simplicity however, i...

    D&D 5E Final Fantasy XV for D&D

Titus Drautos is the captain of the Kingsglaive. He expects diligence and obedience from his soldiers, and his respect is quite difficult to gain. He is also known for dwelling on the past, especially concerning the war between Lucis and Niflhiem, as his homeland was conquered by the latter...

how many of powerful beings and/or high-level characters do you think is appropriate in a typical fantasy world?

Fair point. I made the assumption that this was solely about normal people.

    D&D 5E Downtime Activity: Spellcrafting+

How so? I figured it would be a way to incentivize creation rather than just copying from scrolls. I can see how, but i couldn’t think of any other decent bonus for cantrips. Perhaps limit how much you can cast it as a bonus action per day?

    D&D 5E Downtime Activity: Spellcrafting+

I saw in older editions of DND that a wizard could spend downtime crafting new spells, and this is supported in lore. Unfortunately there are no official rules for doing so in 5th edition, so i took the time to put this together. Its still a rough draft, so any feedback would be appreciated.
