Help for crashed Windows Explorer in ME.

98SE was much more stable than any of the other 9x versions of Windows, in fact, many people swear that it's even more stable than XP is. CarlZog, if you are interested in converting to 98SE to keep your games functional, drop me an email: rjmiller_at_gmail_dot_com. I think I have a few copies...

John Rogers to write new Blue Beetle!

It would be a great way for him to honor Ted's legacy, and it would get him out of the rut that he is currently in. I haven't been following whats ben going on in Booster Gold's life (or Blue Beetle's, for that matter) much, but it seems that Booster's not really happy doing corporate...

That's nice, Frank! How tall is Palpatine compared to 28mm minis?

Recommend a free Ad-ware and/or Spyware remover program to me

Nope, it's for the entire system. The original coder no longer works on it, but there is a staff of others who have taken it over for him. I think that happened about 2 years ago.

    Japanese guy plays Pachelbel's Canon

That was pretty cool! Not the Imperial March, but we did enter our reception to the Throne Room/End Title Theme from Star Wars.

    Check it out

I just received my birthday package back from John, and I had to post again here to say THANKS! :D Here's what he sent me: Touched By The Gods Seven Strongholds Lean & Hungry In The Belly Of The Beast

Recommend a free Ad-ware and/or Spyware remover program to me

Ditto Ditto Ditto and Ditto (with reservations) The first three are all must haves as far as I'm concerned, but be VERY careful with Hijack This. If you don't know what you are deleting, it can remove stuff that you need on your computer. I've only used it in a very few cases, and then only...

John Rogers to write new Blue Beetle!

While I've been reading everthing, I thought to myself "Hmm, I wonder if Booster Gold will takeover the role of Blue Beetle?" He's certainly in a position to do so, he has access to all of Ted's stuff. Probably not going to happen, but that was my first thought.

Mongoose in 2006 (and a bit on the Industry in General)

Except WotC doesn't own the license for Star Wars, they are licensees of Lucasfilm. Dragonlance & GW were owned by WotC, so they could do what they wanted witht hem. Lucasfilm wouldn't let a licensee sub-license out the property, they would license it out themselves.

Mongoose in 2006 (and a bit on the Industry in General)

DC rpg rights are with Black Industries/Black Library/Games Workshop, so it isn't that.

Woo-hoo! I hadn't even realized it was out yet...

Looking forward to this. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on it soon, as my players are fast approaching 7th level, and from the description on the NG website, it sounds like it could be a good fit for their next adventure.

    Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving! In addition to all the other stuff I have to be thankful for, I'd like to give an extra helping of thanks for the great community here, the people I've met through ENWorld, and the fun times I've enjoyed online and in person. You guys are the greatest!

NC Game Day ??? - Did I Miss the Annoucement?

Old One- Nakia & I talked about possibly splitting a hotel room, maybe we could kick some $ in on yours if you have space? That would free up a spot in Rel's basement if I don't stay there, and Nakia won't be left in the cold hunting for his own place to stay. One you know if you've got room...

What are the 5 most common items in your pockets?

Left Front: 2 key rings-house/work keys on a 1970s era bottle opener key ring and car keys on a Lego pirate key ring Right front: Wallet, Coins, USB drive, and odd scraps of paper with notes that I usually forget to read

    Marvel 1602 is freaking AWESOME!

Yes, I was (and am) a fan of Marvel characters. It just felt like the story was forced, not something that Neil was writting because he really believed in it. It was neat to see how the characters were translated into the 17th century, but the story itself was weak.

NC Game Day ??? - Did I Miss the Annoucement?

reveal, if you end up coming and noone can put you up for a few nights, I usually stay at a Motel 6 in Raleigh, and split it with 1 or 2 others (Nakia & der_kluge), and it ends up being about $20/night each person. It's a pretty bare bones hotel, but it's clean and cheap. Rich

Where are you going for Thanksgiving?

I'm going 15 minutes down the road to my in-laws. Which is cool with me, because my mom-in-law is an excellent cook! My Mom, sister, and grandmother are also driving down from NY for the weekend and will be going with us. Laura's grandmother, aunt, uncle, and a few cousins will also be there, so...

    Marvel 1602 is freaking AWESOME!

I wasn't that impressed with 1602. It was ok, but compared to Gaiman's other work, it wasn't anywhere near as good as I had hoped for.
