Mine has about 3 days of heavy use being passed around between 6 players and a DM, a complete read through and referenced off and on since the WPN release and no signs of abnormal wear.

I'm glad you are but, as a relatively inexperienced DM I find the adventure EXTREMELY confusing. The more experience I get the more I see that this is my fault from a lack of understanding, but HotDQ has quite a few mistakes (see link) that amplifies that confusion...

Got mine yesterday at Fat Ogre games in the Woodlands. The art is better than expected. There might be 2 or 3 really meh pieces of art, but the overwhelming majority are excellent to exceptional.

New here so sorry is this is in the wrong place. I'm helping a player roll up a cleric. He has a 16 wisdom which allows him to have 3 spells plus 1 for his level for a total of 4. He also chose the life domain which grants him bless and cure wounds. Does this count towards the 4 he knows or...

Returning. Started playing when 2e was out (but played 1e exclusively for 2 years as my best friends brother-in-law only DM'd 1e). Played and DM'd 2e up until around 97. Since then I have played in maybe 4 sessions of 2e, and missed the entire 3, 3.5/Pathfinder, 4e boat.

I'm running a game for my nieces and nephews on the 16th of August. Will be the first game I have ran since 1996, which was 2e's cleric challenge. I'm so looking forward to getting back into D&D!

I agree. Direction is great, but the broad brush strokes makes it look as if WOtC went for quantity over quality for the filler and even into mid level stuff like characters. They clearly didn't skimp on the major pieces though. The Tiamat painting is amongst my faves.
