    Libra - Spell

I updated the skill to be usable by other classes.

The Swordsage (not to be confused with the SwordMAGE)

I updated Libra, here is the newest version of it. I also included the Int/Wis option you have here, since Libra is also intended for clerics. ----------------------------------------------------- Libra, Level 2 Utility Asking the cosmos for guidance, you attempt to learn more about your foe...

The Swordsage (not to be confused with the SwordMAGE)

I was just suggesting some general limitations. Usually a monster 2 levels higher than a PC is about as strong, so copying its power is ok. You probably want to allow them to copy a higher level monster's powers occasionally, like the "your level +6" for the daily. I mean when the party does...

    Quick Sheath

So if you can pick up an infinite number of items, sheath them all, and draw them all again just to show the DM that the rules don't apply to you.

    Back into the combat immediatley

So I'm playing some D&D with my rogue. I use a power that hits an enemy and gives me combat advantage against him for a round or so. On his turn he cuts me up pretty bad, and I go down to -1 hp, unconscious at his feat. The cleric brings me back before my next turn, and I get up and make my...

    Tweaking Minions

I like how the wizard's at-will AOE skills are still useful at high levels because of minions.

    Tweaking Minions

I think the problem might be with zombie minions. 13 AC does not make a good level 3 minion IMO. Zombies are supposed to be easy to hit, hard to kill, and have high HP to reflect that. I can see 10 minions of another type lasting quite a bit longer, even if they had as little as 15 AC.

The Swordsage (not to be confused with the SwordMAGE)

The enemy skill and friendly fire powers allow you to copy a power of any monster/player up to your level +2 (this should cover about half the monsters you meet). When you use them, you have to expend your highest level power of the appropriate type (encounter power if you copy and encounter or...

    My houserules until now:

Oh, wow, short rest. In that case I don't see the point in the house-rule, it just seems like it forces the players to take more short rests and makes fighters look stupid (which they are).

The Swordsage (not to be confused with the SwordMAGE)

Keep updating, the class is beginning to look more balanced.

    My houserules until now:

--- 9 - I think a character proficient in longswords should be better at identifying one than a wizard. The only problem is that if the party finds 3 magic items and then takes and extended rest (assuming a worst case scenario where only one member has arcana) then the wizard is only going to...

New Class -- Historian (think Indiana Jones / Tomb Raider)

I don't understand how not making him a good combat character was a conscious design choice. I guess depending on the sort of campaign you run this might work (at my table things start to get tense if we go 30 mins without a good fight). I would give the poor fellow some advantage in combat...

    Quick Sheath

They wouldn't take improved initiative. Ah, well, I guess I don't really have any problems with this feat, it's just not one I would take...

    Quick Sheath

Nobody would take this feat for the quicksheath property, only for the initiative bonus.

The Swordsage (not to be confused with the SwordMAGE)

Just like that is, to put it nicely, broken. For the rest of the encounter the PCs gain the ability to use the dragon's breathweapon or some other such powerful ability with a large bonus to hit and damage. I'm not sure exactly where to go with this one but I can see a few too many ways to abuse...

    Dual Classed Characters

I don't see the point. It seems like a lot of work for something that will only be a little different than the current offering of cross class feats. Sorry, but I don't think I would want to bother with the extra rules and book keeping.

The Swordsage (not to be confused with the SwordMAGE)

I haven't looked at the higher level powers yet, but check to see if he has enough healing abilities (he is a leader). If not, throw some of those in. As for "Anything you can do" and "flattering imitation" I'm a little confused on how they work. I know they work with the powers that copy the...

The Swordsage (not to be confused with the SwordMAGE)

Hey man, I like the class a lot, thanks for using my Libra spell. So I get the idea of this class as a sort of fighter that gives up some combat ability to learn a little bit of everything else. He uses this everything else to grant the party bonuses in combat and heal them a bit (making him a...

Soulknife (Psionic striker) Complete with Paragon Paths & Feats

+ 1/2 cha mod to speed seems a little powerful. Even at first level, thats a +2 bonus to speed. For a character in light armor, a +1 bonus to speed takes up the foot slot and costs 4000 gp. I think a flat +1 class bonus to speed is good enough for the weaver option. I like the idea of...
