D&D General Gelatinous Cube Toy For Action Figures

The cube IS hollow. You can put an action figure inside it with 1 arm poking out of the cube. Also, if I understand correctly, the cube is made out of 6 parts, so you could do the upside down cup thing.

New Tolkien Book: The Fall of Númenor

And here I was thinking the The Nature of Middle-earth was going to be the last one. Nature was billed by HarperCollins as the "first ever publication of J.R.R. Tolkien’s final writings on Middle-earth". So I'm quite certain that this one is a compilation of previously published material...

D&D General Was the court Wizard right to Polymorph The heir from A Teenager into A Baby because she knew the villain would kill A Teenager but not A Baby?

And a younger version of someone/something would technically speaking have a lower CR. OP is on to something here.

D&D General Was the court Wizard right to Polymorph The heir from A Teenager into A Baby because she knew the villain would kill A Teenager but not A Baby?

If the court wizard is powerful enough to cast True Polymorph, why didn't he use Power Word Kill on the villain, or use Time Stop to hide the surviving member of the royal family, or use any other useful spell?

D&D General Was the main plotter right in cancelling his plot to seize the throne after the 13 years old queen fell in love with his 15 year old grandson?

+ the unnecessary amount of detail. It's almost as if our attention spans are so short that the characters ages need to be mentioned twice in the same post.

    D&D 5E OAR #7

Up until now, OAR has updated adventures that were on the top 30 list as published in Dungeon #116 from November 2004. Possible spoilers for OAR #8 and beyond? #1 Queen of the Spiders (1986) Against the Giants included in Tales from the Yawning Portal #2 Ravenloft (1983) #3 Tomb of Horrors...

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

It depends. A re-release of 1e books (with updates) under a 6e banner wouldn't be the same as selling an altered book while claiming that it is the 1e edition. EDIT: I think a good example would be the Original Adventures Reincarnated by Goodman Games. Although these editions include a...

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

Because calling it an assembly implies that it is part of a bicameral legislature? I'm asking because, since English isn't my native language, I'm not always familiar with the connotation. Of course it matters. I only meant that it doesn't matter when verifying whether it meets the criteria of...

WotC Older D&D Books on DMs Guild Now Have A Disclaimer

On the topic of semantics: OED describes deprivation as 'lack or denial of something considered to be a necessity' and gives the examples of sleep and water.

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

The logo would beg to differ. Call it what you want, but the fact remains that both Wales and Scotland have a unicameral, democratically elected legislature, with the authority to pass bills concerning matters such as health, agriculture and education. It doesn't matter which matters are out of...

(Rumor) Disney Stars Wars Could Be Removed from Canon (or simply ignored)

“And if The Terminator franchise taught us anything it is that the future is not set.”: using a Terminator reference to satisfy unhappy fans is nothing more than pandering. Time travel has always been an integral part of Terminator, not so much in Star Wars. In creating the Legends imprint...

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

I'm only presuming, but I think Haldrik meant the names of people that actually existed. There's a difference between giving a character the surname 'Yamauchi' and naming a character 'Hattori Hanzō'. Unfortunately, typecasting isn't limited to being the token Asian/black. Consider how fortunate...

WotC Older D&D Books on DMs Guild Now Have A Disclaimer

While some people analysing Tolkien's work have reached the conclusion that Orcs were based on black people, Tolkien has (to my knowledge) never admitted this. What he did admit (in a letter written in 1958, in which he discussed the script of Morton Grady Zimmerman's proposed film of The Lord...

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

I wanted to DM an adventure that wasn't combat heavy back when the country was in lockdown, because it was too big of a hassle with the map. Came across 'Hellscouts - Tiefling Summer Camp' on the DMs Guild. Long story short: I had planned for 1 session of 3 hours, but it turned out to be 2...

Mr Yunioshi in Breakfast at Tiffany's. I LOVE that movie as a whole, but I have to admit that Rooney's character is very cringeworthy.
