Adventures Across Khorvaire - Chapter 1: Reflections

Kamarna sighs. "Why? It's not like deadie's going anwhere. I suppose whoever killed him might have gone after his research, though, so I suppose we should check to make sure it hasn't been ransacked."

"Indeed. Here, let me help you with that..." Craft +4; technically, they'll be helping him.

Adventures Across Khorvaire - Chapter 1: Reflections

"Maybe we want to wait until after the lecture though; if we hurry, we won't be that late!" Kamarna remarks, as he heads to the door. "I really wanted to hear this guy's talk."

    D&D 4e game?

That's almost acceptable; just swap out "my mental image is a dwarf, who was" with "<character name> was", and, similarly, figuring out what, exactly, it was that triggered her to leave. Additionally, you'd need to write a description of your personality and appearance.

So much hate for the Firecubes.

    [OOC] Into the World

My character, once he sees this, will try to decipher it. If he follows the Common + Int bonus languages rule, he'll know Common, Elven, Dwarven, Draconic, and Abyssal. They'd have been taught to him by his mother; you need to know the languages of magical races before you can learn the language...

Need ideas for a good Greed Trap

Giant pile of coins. Coins are coated with a contact poison. Adjust DC and Damage to suit the PC's level.

When the PCs Can Beat Everything

The problem you've got is that you've got a large party. Rather than increasing the CR of the monsters, which would lead to situations where one side will utterly crush the other, you should increase the numbers of monsters instead. So, instead of throwing two mind flayers at them, throw four or...

    Into the World, Chapter One

Malixus looks at the items the duo had just procured from the smithy. "I wonder if we could get a reward from whoever had these commissioned. Eh. Probably doesn't matter too much, though we'll want to keep a hold of the chainmail. That stuff's bleeding expensive; we'd be able to eat for months...

    Into the World, Chapter One

Malixus nods. "Good idea. I'll help."

I suppose. Is everyone still here and interested in playing?

    D&D 4e game?

Actually, I was waiting for someone to take over the Dwarf Fighter, and I thought someone was going to wait a few days before taking on a character.

Warlord Player's job is to tell other players what to do??

I'll point out that while it is mandatory, the Warlord need not actually move anyone. You can choose to slide characters less distance than the power states; he can simply choose to slide them 0 squares.

How Do You Like the Warlord?

Kamina, from Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann. I've wanted to play a warlord for a while now for this very reason.

    D&D 4E 4e: the new paradigm

I'd imagine it would be something along the lines of Rock Lee and Naruto Uzimaki's refusal to give up. They'll keep fighting and fighting, because their precious people are at stake, and protecting them is their ninja way. There might or might be flashback involved.

    Summoning an aasimar?

It'd be perfectly legal; class levels would count against the limit for maximum hit dice. The main objection I can see is it slowing down play unless the player already has the called critter's stats already worked out.

    Summoning an aasimar?

Planar Binding and Planar Ally would work. They're not Summoning spells, though, they're Calling spells.

    Podcast: Drow Warrior 1 Usefullness

Incorrect. By DND RAW, only the best and most skilled are fighters; PC classes comprise about 3% of the population. Once you've hit level 2, you're in the 1% of the population. The goblin shephers, woodcutters, and swineherds are all Commoners, and probably level 1 at that.

    Podcast: Drow Warrior 1 Usefullness

I'd use a Drow Warrior 1. I know some Eberron adventures used encounters with Drow Warrior 2s. They're humanoids, and they bleed and die like anyone else. Even if they're a backstabby culture, you don't need to be a fabulous swordsmaster to survive. You just have to be nondescript enough to...
