Exactly. WTF... still shocked by this news.. it was the thing I was looking forward the most. I was under the impression that the Multiverse would take front and center in this edition...

What really shocks me the most... if they aren't going to produce a Forgotten Realms Campaign Sourcebook anytime soon... what about all the other settings... This has seriously bummed me out.

Yeah.. IMO.. Magic Items really need to be in the DMG. I am a DM that makes players figure out their items on their own or use a wizard to Identify them.. Having them in the Players Handbook took that fun out of it for me.

I am planning on taking the group on a massive Multiverse adventure. Rod of the Seven Parts will be it focus... One part in each world.... Forgotten Realms to start... Dragonlance (Taladas)... Ravenloft... Greyhawk... Darksun... Eberron... Planescape to finish... or Tyranny of Dragons in...

Smart move. You will probably still get a C&D from Wizards aka Hasbro Legal. It is what I would do if I were them, honestly. They have to cover their bases. Good luck if you pursue the matter, but, IMO you will lose.

Interesting... Tome of Horrors 5E would be very welcomed into my collection. I would also love to see Swords and Sorcery's Creature Collections. Onyx Path as gained the rights to Scarred Lands so we might see it.

I am hoping for a book called Multiverse. A write up on ALL of the campaign settings and how they are tied together with ideas to link your personal homebrew. Yes, most people can figure it out themselves, but getting another perspective doesn't hurt.

I caught that too.. I actually LOL when I read it. Some of my favorite pieces in the Basic Rules is making references to canon characters... Its absolutely perfect. I mean Tika Waylan and Artemis Entreri mentioned in the same paragraph. Pure fandom joy for me. I also am getting charged up...
