You could do it like the Alter Size SDA and have deities be abbe assume any size between Medium and Titanic (or whatever) as a free action. That way if Surtur wants to be Titanic all th time, he can, and if he fights another deity, that deity can grow to equal size while they fight. I dunno if...

I think that works pretty well. It makes more sense to me then any of the previous explanations did, at least.

I've always seen it as simply making your blows harder to stop. It's a hell of a lot easier to block a punch from a random commoner with a shield then it is to block one from Godzilla.

Awesome, I was wondering if it would be possible to beat Pun-Pun using the rules in Ascension. Arbitrarily high stats don't look so hot when compared to some of the Transcendental and Omnific abilities. Or any character with Exceptional Deflection and Reflect Arrows. :lol:

Ah, that would explain why you got such different numbers. I've noticed that Upper_Krust's formulas tend to result in a lot lower character wealth then the standard rules, but I'm as yet undecided weather or not it's a good thing.

I think your problem is that you've vastly underestimated the character wealth for a 5th level character. The table in the Epic Level Handbook gives 13,600,000 GP as the standard wealth for a 40th level character, which is more then you've alloted for a character 10 levels above that. I've used...
