Would it be fair to characterize this as you wanting 5e to be a bit more of a toolkit for you? I'm not trying to put words in your mouth here, just wanting to clarify this for myself.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm going to have rave about this product and not (yet) offer meaningful feedback. This setting supplement is blowing me away -- insanely imaginative, heaps of ideas... I don't easily get impressed with rpg settings but this right here is a home run.

Evan -- thanks for that. That was well done. As for availability at the LGS, it's been pretty difficult to find any store that got these in, let alone stores that still stock them (at least, that's the case in the Los Angeles area).

Personally, I think a lot of the Dungeon World advice is among the best GMin'g advice I've ever read in nearly 40 years of gaming. This article in particular, on Fronts, is great use-at-the-table advice. Easily implemented and thought provoking.
