Would it overpower the Sorcerer to give him unlimited cantrips per day at some point? If not, what level should he get this ability at? On one hand, unlimited spellcasting is powerful. On the other, combat cantrips are weaker than firing a crossbow. Your thoughts?

That's just fluff. You can easily take Perform: Oratory and use your bard ability with inspiring speeches rather than "Bluff, Bluff, Bluff the Stupid Ogre". Winston Churchill clearly had Bard levels, and was using Inspire Courage over the BBC...

Pseudonatural creatures are about equal to celestial ones. However, the alienist can no longer summon creatures which don't have the celestial or fiendish template. These include most of the better ones on the list.

Neither nor. You need WF: any straight bow to get in, and then WF: crossbow to use the abilities with a crossbow. That's a waste of a feat, but it will give you the crossbow snipage you want. Alternatively, if I was DMing I'd allow you to get in to OotBI using a crossbow. That may just be me...
