CapnZapp Dude, get over it. I'm so sorry I spammed your boards with a misplaced post. So, PLEASE, will somebody help this man (or woman, I no longer care) and for the love of all that is Holy move my post to the appropriate board. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do we think the new Big Book of Crunch will interact with the whole "PHB + 1" limitations? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    D&D 5E Concentration + Temp HP

This is how I read it as well. Apparently Crawford & Co. see it otherwise. To each their own, yeah? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    D&D 5E Concentration + Temp HP

Say you cast Heroism upon yourself. With a 16 in your Spell Casting Ability you grant yourself 3 Temp HP. Being a Concentration spell, if you took just 2 HP damage would a Concentration check be required to maintain the spell? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    D&D 5E Polearm Master Feat

Only to play Devils Advocate here because I know you're literally correct on the length of the Pike in historical terms, but in 5E D&D it's technically 10'. So why the ridiculous weight and PM omission?! I request answers, damnit!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    D&D 5E Polearm Master Feat

I totally hear your tongue-in-cheek approach here, but doesn't the Pike actually make the MOST sense to use in a dungeon corridor (as far as polearms are concerned) as a thrusting weapon? The glaive, halberd, and quarterstaff all seem less effective in tight quarters... Sent from my iPhone...

    D&D 5E Polearm Master Feat

I'm just saying, that for all the handwaving that goes on, especially in regards to weapons, it's seems almost laughable that the "official" response has anything to do with an even facsimile of realism... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    D&D 5E Polearm Master Feat

Yeah, I guess the trident DOES deserve mention. Man, what's WotC's beef with polearms? Is this backlash against the those massive polearm lists from 2E? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    D&D 5E Polearm Master Feat

Thanks for the replies y'all, especially Jaelis for the SA link. I can now OFFICIALLY nominate the Pike as the worst RAW weapon in the PHB...not to mention the UA Spear Master Feat, which brings the spear some meatiness and again leaves the Pike behind... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    D&D 5E Polearm Master Feat

I know this has been addressed before but I can't find the thread--Is the Pike pursposefully omitted from the second bullet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

D&D 5E Fun with Glyphs of Warding

Also, if I'm reading it right, the spell(s) you Glyph have to be harmful to other creatures... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

D&D 5E To what degree can targets sense Hex/Hunter's Mark?

At the end of the day, what's the desired outcome? What's the point in determining whether an Enemy know's whether it has Hex or Hunter's Mark cast upon them? Outside of some Dispel Magic, is there anything else you could do?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Planescape WOTC Teasing Planescape?

It seems likely that TftYP is meant to be a short-term stop-gap to give sufficient time to introduce the Next Big Thing--why else use a bi-annual Adventure book updating old Adventures? Answer: it's quick and easy and can be done with minimal R&D. Big Autumn release seems obvious now... Sent...

    D&D 5E Your favorite PC of all-time...

I've played (what I consider to be) some really epic PC's in my 25+ yrs of D&D and yet I still have one that stands heads and shoulders above the rest. I know there's been similar threads akin to this one, but I'd like to start a "happy thread" where nobody has ANY good reason to shat in...
