I know it says in the rules that when a creature polymoprhs, any items worn or carried are "absorbed" into the new form. I know, however, there are some items that stay in place when a character wildshapes. Are there items, or an item quality, that allows them to remain usable after a polymorph?

While not originally placed in an Oriental setting, for my campaign I have adapted "Of Nests and Nations" (Issue 13) and "Nine-Tenths of the Law" (Issue 26). For an Indian feel, "Rana Mor" is a beauty and you can always use the old standby "Dwellers of the Forbidden City".
