I think it looks okay. I prefer the original color scheme, but the new one isn't hideous in my eyes. The Drow Infiltrator (repainted Drow Sgt.) is a thing of beauty and shows the potential for a very nice repaint. BTW, found my DDXP photos. For comparison:

I'm pretty sure that we're seeing production photos now. We got the chance to see the minis in hand at D&D Experience, and the Cyclops looks the same to me.

I think it's pretty clear that the decision was made in order to make it more difficult to pirate (not to eliminate all piracy) and to bring electronic distribution in house. Makes sense to me. I'm also happy to see that there was a misunderstanding, and legitimate buyers will be given a window...

I'm indifferent regarding the availability of .pdf resources. On the other hand, I'm happy to see theft prosecuted. Yes, I realize that it won't stop piracy, but I'm still glad to see it prosecuted. I've seen too many good friends suffer from that sort of thing.
