I'm with Mortis on this one. The Favored Soul, though lacking domain spells, is a spontaneous cousin of the cleric, and they get wings!

If you can, I would suggest you look at the sacred fist PrC from the complete divine book. It's almost exactly what you're looking for, if a PrC would suffice. Personally, I'd say that you should exchange the monk abilities for the cleric's, but without the domain spells.
