    Quicken Spell above lvl 6?

If you want to quicken spells above 6th level you are better off taking autoquicken 3x to get all spells up to 9th level quickens for free. Then take the feat that lets you cast multiple quickened spells and you are blasting away with everything you got.

    System Reference Documents

Is it just me or is the information on the revised 3.5 SRD page exactly the same as the old SRD?

    [Epic] Beating high SR

Heighten Spell always needed a boost and now you can have a fortified spell which penetrates SR and has a higher DC save and bypasses globes of invulnerability.

D&D 3E/3.5 Do Synergy Bonuses no longer stack in 3.5?

I think its because Andy Collins said they did and it was going in the next copy of the errata.

    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5 Quick Question] Brilliant energy?

I think the only time you would deactivate a weapon ability is when it healed the creature you were currently fighting. Elemental weapons only do extra damage on a hit, so sitting in your scabbard it can be on and not do anything. Too bad you can't turn off brilliant energy when you need to...

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] What changes to the Ring of Jumping?

Not all skills were created equal that's why rings of jumping gave +30 jump skill for 2k when under the old rules it would have cost 9k. Why would you take +10 to jump when you could just fly instead?

    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5 Quick Question] Brilliant energy?

Why aren't the elemental effects always on? They have no duration and they don't damage the wielder.

[3.5] Cohorts no longer gobble up party XP

The way I read the new rule is that the cohort will level each time the PC levels unless 1) the cohort dies, 2) the PC dies or 3) Someone makes a magic item. If a 10th level character gets the 10k needed to level, his cohort will get his level divided by 10 * the 10k (=1k per level) which for...

    Please rate Arterial Strike

Regenerating and Fast Healing creatures would be unaffected by arterial strike because they heal every round. The point is that it only last long enough to make worth taking as a feat in a few circumstances. I thought being able to duplicate a 8k magic item made the feat bad. Someone else...

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Is every Magic Change Downward?

Who paid to scribe spells before? Every wizard had a Boccobs Blessed Book. 50% cheaper doesn't change anything.

    Cheap mounts, for rent, magical

This scenario would likely take place in a high magic world with permanent teleportation circles between the major cities. A low level sorceror (6th) could make a good living making 14 horses per day that last 12 hours or with extend feat 24 and 36 hr horses would also be available. Even...

    Please rate Arterial Strike

The theatrics don't have anything to do with the feat. Wounding is only useful against dumb animals that have no access to healing. The gladiators wounding ability lasts 10 round - the con modifier of the target. This feat should just give the rogue wounding on every sneak attack with a 10...

    I'm BURSTING with curiosity!!

I also did a complete number analysis for the ambiguos rules faq. To make burst a valid option for weapons it needs to do +1d20 energy damage on a critical in additon to the 1d6 it does all the time.

    Forcibly Removing Armour

Under rules for breaking an object the goblins would never break the armor in a million years. The goblins will have a hard time grappling the paladin even with 8 of them. Is the paladin by himself? Is there no ally to stand next to him?

    Please rate the Lasher

I think everyone could enjoy playing a lasher. A class that makes an otherwise unusable weapon something interesting and versatile is what prestige classes are all about. Its too bad that all S&F classes were made before the 3rd edition rules were finished. Of all the class books, S&F could most...

    Please rate Extra Slot

There are surely more than 200 feats out there. As interpretations of existing feats change so would their ratings. It seems that more that a few feats have varying interpretations and plenty have house rules. There is a web site with feat voting on it but its poorly done. If someone had feats...

    How does Cooperative Spell Work?

I have to say the first interpretation must be the correct one. The 2nd makes the feat very poor. Cooperative spell is used by a multiclass caster to juice up his otherwise worthless spells if a pure caster is willing to take this feat and cast the same spells at the same time. Everyone knows...

    Please rate Extra Slot

2 is being exceedingly generous. Caster classes get the equivalent of this feat free 2x every level. Non-caster classes get the equivalent every level. Why spend a feat you only get every 3 levels for something that has very tiny benefit. The gc value of this feat could be somewhere between...

    Please rate Gladiator

Improved feint is only worth a whole feat to a rogue and things like quicker than the eye are better. Improved coup de gras isn't even a quarter feat. Most of the other abilities are 1/10 feats except make them bleed which is almost worth a whole feat but is inferior to weapon specialization...
