How do you store and tote your D&D minis?

    Fishing tacklebox.

    Fiendish Codex III: Yugoloths poll

BoF Overrated, no. Not to your individual taste, yes. The book is great and bites a lot harder than the recent WOTC books.

    PHB2 vs. Arcana Evolved

AE - excellent book, the aforementioned world 'baggage' is easily dropped and the magic system can originate from a far-off land in your campaign world the players don't often see. I took one look at PHB2 and haven't looked again. Bleh

    Fiendish Codex III: Yugoloths poll

Already have the book in question - It's called Book of Fiends by Green Ronin :)

Rules in 3.5 that need fixing and what you'd do to fix it.

Simplify and/or remove (and adjust feats/skills to reflect this): - Attacks of Opportunity - Grappling, Tripping, Sundering, etc. Restrict or use XP costs for the 'cheater' spells (locate 'x', detect 'y', speak w/dead) to, by default encourage solving problems w/out the spells.

    What module are you running?

Kind of fun to see how many are converting older modules and running with them. Also, couple others using Lost City of Barakus. I'm hoping my group picks up again next weekend.

    Addicted to buying 1e AD&D Player's Handbooks!

It's a serious problem...kidding, of course. It is a good thing you're not in Denver, CO. I think Black & Read has about 60 copies of this. Even at $5 each that's a load of PHB.

attn Jay Hafner - Dungeon index?

Not Jay :) But I think this is what you're after... http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=81883

    What module are you running?

DMing Lost City of Barakus (www.necromancergames.com), modified moderately to fit it into the City State of the Invincible Overlord/Wilderlands setting. Removed Endhome as the default city and am cherry-picking which side adventures to use. Throwing in quite a few Dungeon adventures over the...

What do you want to see in the Dragon Compendium 2?

Can't for the life of me remember or figure out what issue it was, but there was a pair, Dungeon and a DRagon article detailing a city of ghouls in the Underdark and the Ecology of the True Ghoul. From the 2E era.

How can I make my game as bloody as Apocalypto?

It's all in the description. Just saw Apocalypto last night - I liked it, not as much as some critics, but it was a solid film. Human-sacrificing, pyramid-dwelling king-priests pulling out hearts and lopping heads off seems a good fit for D&D IMHO...:)

    White-skinned Drow

Bringing this back in line - the 'drow' are whatever you want to make of them. Interesting side note: pale-skinned subterranean dark elves (not drow) are the default assumption in the Wilderlands of High Fantasy (www.necromancergames.com). 'Dark' because of evil naughtiness, not skin color...

How many forums do you follow?

Enworld (occasionally) Necro GAmes (occasionally) Honestly, I'm not much of a forum junkie.

Does your gaming take a hit because of the holidays?

Severe. Kicked off my Wilderlands game 2 weeks ago. But we won't get another game in the works until Jan. 6. From about mid October thru Jan. 1 every year gaming is sparse - especially since we can't normally muster anything beyond 1/ 2 weeks, this sucks.

    When Adventure Designers Cheat

The word 'cheat' is the wrong word to use in an RPG IMO. Rules are what you make of them. There is likely a huge difference between 'sloppy' design (not understanding RAW) and taking liberty with RAW where/when needed. DMs do it all the time.

    Commuting to a game

I'm willing to go anywhere in the Denver metro area, but most times I find myself hosting (for D&D anyhow, other game systems are a different matter) on weekend nights. Really, I try to limit myself to a 40 minute drive. I've tried games across town on Friday nights - rush hour makes it hideous.

    CR/EL System View

Definitely an art - I find myself using it as a gauge and then assigning XP appropriately. I am the DM afterall :)

Do close friends make less-effective players?

quite the opposite. my group of friends seems to game well together and have become more effective players over the years.

What spells do you get tired of seeing wizard players take? Cliche's, etc.

Detect <alignment> Locate <this or that> Commune, speak w/dead Resurrection spells (where common) Essentially what I call the 'cheating' spells. I don't remove these from my game, but do impose XP costs.
