Oh, I'm up on all that stuff--I just find it very amusing that I start thinking of something as purely geeky as Ravenloft Mists while watching a film like Apocalypse Now, know what I mean? It doesn't exactly scream "D&D."

On a semi-related thought, do you guys ever get the impression that Willard has passed through the Mists right before he reaches Kurtz's camp in Apocalypse Now? Every time I see that film I can't help but think of Ravenloft during those scenes. Weird.

Kind of agree with you there. "Once More, With Feeling" is GREAT, and is probably my all-time favorite single episode, but I think that Seasons 2 and 3 are the best of the series.
