    Weapon Focus & Implements

I think I'm not understanding you. It would be at most 2 more damage on a crit, which happens well, not all that often, whereas the defenses come up every round you're attacked.

    Easy questions I think

What paragon path was that? Trying to find it, such an annoying website.

    Easy questions I think

But the ongoing damage was the result and is wrapped up as the whole of an attack, that happens to continue to damage from round to round. The reason the creature is having ongoing damage is because of an attack.

    Easy questions I think

I agree, I'd still have the vulnerable creature take the extra damage. If something is burning from ongoing fire, and it really is vulnerable to fire, then well, it should take the extra damage. Onto another perhaps easy question I just remembered. At what point do you do the vulnerable for...

    Weapon Focus & Implements

See, Staff of Defense wins out for me hands down every time. Um, yes, I'd like a +1 to all defenses including my AC, for 1d8 crit instead of 1d10.

    D&D 4E 4E Dragons - Where's the beef?

Very true, my Dnd Type A personality is getting the better of me. Excuse my condition.

    Easy questions I think

First, on a critical are striker's extra dice maxed or rolled? Second, if you have resist 5 poison and something hits you that does ongoing 5 poison plus and effect (save ends both) are you still affected by the "plus whatever" effect even though you aren't taking any damage? Sorry if these...

    D&D 4E 4E Dragons - Where's the beef?

I'm interested in this as well, but have some questions. Do you add the +2 on top of the solo's already +5 to save? Also, where do you get 58 hps? Isn't it +6 per level + con, so 36+18 for 54? Maybe just typo on your part? Do you also give it the additional action point? Thanks,

Technique Feats, Style Feats, Arena Feats, oh my

Hmm, yeah, maybe it is DDI, as I do have that subscription. It is from Dragon 373, and the article came out on the 23rd. The others, Art of the Kill and Gladiators came out earlier.

Technique Feats, Style Feats, Arena Feats, oh my

Well, I was specifically looking at making a rogue build that utilized the Riposte strike often. With that at-will, use Vigilante Justice Style from Art of the Kill, Dragon 373. The attacked creature doesn't have to attack you to create the interrupt attack, just someone adjacent to you...

Technique Feats, Style Feats, Arena Feats, oh my

So with the excerpt from Martial Power 2 I think they may have closed a door on something that seemed to get too good, but want to be sure. Was there anything before this MP2 excerpt that said that multiple style augmentations don't work together? I noticed it there saying if you had multiple...

PHB2 general feats review (heroic tier)

I agree, when I started reading the feats and hit combat medic I went, neat. Yes, it certainly isn't the coolest feat, but I also like secure campsite and light step, so maybe I like interesting feats that help round out a character than pure unadulterated math feats. I like those too...

    WotC's Dnd customer service email

Title says it all, as I want to email them about a rules question. Have never done it but seen people on the forums talking about how they contact customer service with a question. Just wondering if there is a specific email for that or just the straight up customer service email on WotC's...

No Druid flight abilities akin to Cloud Chariot?

First welcome to the forums. Let me get how you are reading this; You're saying as long as you are in Raven form at the end of the encounter your are good to go for the rest of your natural born life essentially? If after the encounter is done and you are in Raven form (which I'm still not...

    Opportunity attacks vs. invisible enemies?

This is where it is getting too nitpicky with the definitions I fear. See is what they wrote, but you can "see" where the invisible guy is in the square. Would you not allow an AO for a human at dusk when a goblin moves by him? Of course you would, at least I hope you would. The goblin has...

No Druid flight abilities akin to Cloud Chariot?

Yeah, we'll have to agree to disagree then. What is the email for Wizards customer service for this, I've never used them but wouldn't mind asking about this for my first one.

High Crit Property with Implement Attacks

Its interesting as this came up in our group and I was initially think opposite of you, gribble. And with the errata of Weapon Focus, I thought maybe my initial thought was correct. I guess still up in the air, but we play it that you do get it, *shrugs*.

    Opportunity attacks vs. invisible enemies?

If someone is invisible but hasn't made a successful stealth check against you then while you can't "see" him you know he is present and in which square (maybe his body pushes some of the leaves away from him in the forest, or his boots displaces water in a creek, or you see his footprints, or...

No Druid flight abilities akin to Cloud Chariot?

Well, I think that may be RAI but I don't agree that is RAW. I think it should be clarified as the first sentence just doesn't work for me in getting at how you interpret it. I would love to, but I don't agree :) I think perhaps a, Until your next Extended Rest would have worked better. Then...

No Druid flight abilities akin to Cloud Chariot?

No, it says until the end of the encounter. You'll note it says, "Until this power ends, you can use wild shape to change among this form, another beast form, and your humanoid form." So, while Wild Shape may not have a duration, this power, the one allowing you to be a tiny raven (Black...
