    How do I do this?

But Transmutation has such fun spells! Like... Cat's Grace, or Tenser's Transformation!

    [Complete Champion] Spontaneous Divination

It is indeed in the 3.5 PHB. In chapter 10, somewhere

    speed gives and jump bonus?

Whisper Gnomes move at 30ft! That's important!

    Min/max'ing Rogues!

Yeah, Daring Outlaw and Ascetic Monks are both things I've done already :P They're kinda cool, but for Outlaw losing hide/move silently as class skills isn't good.

    Min/max'ing Rogues!

Yeah I very much doubt we're going epic, our attention span isn't - oooooh a plastic bag!! .. >_> Alright, see, dual wielding hand crossbows seems cool, but how do you consistently get sneak attack damage with a ranged weapon? There's Deadeye Shot, but you can't do that with DW...

    Min/max'ing Rogues!

Does Telling Blow really help that much? A dagger has a 19-20 crit range, and if you're not SA'ing, chances are you're trying to SA next round and won't be able to hurt them very much anyways... Getting Brilliant Energy Weapons, when you can afford it, means you really don't need to go fighter...

    Ability Focus: Spells?

Ah thanks :P It's not really said "explicitly" in the PHB2, but check the premade feat lists at the end.

    Warblade maneuvers

Bah most of those aren't arbitrary. Pun-pun? No. Omnifiscer? No. But the game is meant to be fun, and there are supposed to be a lot of options. I've seen a fighter rival, if not beat my Warblade's damage without a real problem. Plus, fighter is an awesome 2/4 level dip.

    Warblade maneuvers

.. then don't play a fighter, is my point. The DM shouldn't HAVE to arbitrarily make decisions about what classes can be played. If there's a story driven reason that I can't play a fighter, sure! ... but.. good luck.

    Warblade maneuvers

The difference between a Cleric and a Favored Soul, when both are built exactly the same way, is completely inconsequential. My real point is that completely arbitrary DM imposed restrictions are annoying.

    Ability Focus: Spells?

    Uh that's exactly what I said :P

touch of golden ice + lots of dex damage + undead = ?

QFT. Yes, I am quoting myself. But it really is this simple.

    Follow-up to Antimagic Field question.

Doesn't belong then - there would be no save for a Silenced Arrow sticking in you. This, for some reason, makes the Arcane Archer a lot more interesting to me :P

    Ability Focus: Spells?

Heh, intention is important though, they clearly didn't mean for you to be able to take Ability Focus (Spells). But, I hate to argue against the side I agree with - Sp has to be Abilty Focus-able, or Warlocks would be in trouble.. and in the PHb2 (it might even be in CArc), it explicitly says...

    Rope Trick

Well, the rope connects to the sky (hard to think of it that way, but imagine either a void, or solid air [ignore wind]), so it has no reason to move with the boat.

    Follow-up to Antimagic Field question.

Is there actually a will negates on silence if the field lands beside them? Because from my understanding, you only get the save if they cast it with you as the centerpoint

Meta Magic rod of Persistant Spell (cost)

Heh, I hear a lot about Persistent Spell - what exactly does it do, and what book is it from? (I don't have any access to books from here though) Sorry to change the topic slightly, and thanks

    Warblade maneuvers

Hrm. Maybe it's just my group of players then, but that would get silly. Banning all the PHB classes would just mean people played Warblade instead of Fighter, Swordsage instead of monk/rogue, and warlock instead of wizard/sorceror.. Favored Soul instead of Cleric. Woop-dee-doo. And banning...

    Warblade maneuvers

For one thing, banning any classes in a campaign is kinda cruel, bow-fighters and a few other things can be fun, and some people actually like the bladness of the class (doesn't tell you at all how to play your character). For another, yeah it's a very strong class. I played one up to Warblade...

    Min/max'ing Rogues!

    Trying to stay a skill-monkey :P That's a pretty cool idea, but I don't think it's what he's looking for >_> more gutter-rat than weapon master :P
