D&D's The Book of Dragons Comes Out in August

I've seen snippets of the image around a lot, but I don't know that it is in any physical book (yet). I was in the PDF dragon book you got when you purchased the 2024 Core Rulebook bundle (I got the digital bundle). It was on the cover and in the red dragon section.

D&D's The Book of Dragons Comes Out in August

I could be wrong but it doesn't look like the same artist for the gem dragon concept art that did the chromatic and metallic concept art. That is unfortunate as I think he great job with the new designs.

D&D's The Book of Dragons Comes Out in August

Excited for this. I have been waiting for a hard cover that has all of the 2024 dragon concept art in it and this seems to be that book (I hope). I plan to get this if it tracks with these preview images.

D&D's The Book of Dragons Comes Out in August

Oh goodness no, that is just run of the mil 2024 art (IMO of course). I also have several design and artistic issues with that piece actually (though I am picking when it comes to dragons). Here is, if not my favorite, definitely my favorite red dragon art of 2024/25. I love the slain gold...

    Greek Gods vs. Titans

I have a similar, but slightly different approach. In my game gods are those immortals that can gather power from worship and have "Authority." They don't need worship and it is not the major source of their power. However, it does allow to do more than others without worship and helps them...

    Greek Gods vs. Titans

I don't actually get that from my reads of Greek Mythology. It doesn't seem to me that the gods power is dependent on worship. At least I don't get that from any of the actually myths. Perhaps some Greek philosophers may have suggested as such (some were very anti-divine btw), but I don't...

D&D General [rant]The conservatism of D&D fans is exhausting.

I agree with the bolded part, but I don't think it needs a table or a set of tools even. It simple needs a shared understanding and trust between the members of the group.

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

@Upper_Krust , I thought you might find this comment from Roll and Play Press over on there AMA about their new DnD Beyond product: "6) Kickstarter is a totally different ball game to what it used to be around 2020 - probably because everyone was sat at home in lockdown with the pandemic back...

D&D (2024) Bastions in organised play? Can they work?

As @Azzy suggested look at how AL handles it and see if it works for you (see link in Azzy's post): Bastions Bastions are available for player use. All characters starting at level 5 may begin to build a Bastion and begin with one Cramped and one Roomy facility. You must have a visual...
